Authorities were investigating how a woman arrested for cocaine possession was arrested and incarcerated with men in a Miami-Dade jail.



Internal reports exclusively obtained by NBC 6 show that Veloz Fior de Pichardo was examined by the medical nurse on duty inside the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami-Dade and the nurse somehow came to the conclusion Pichardo was a man. One corrections form has an M in the block indicating gender.

but again. You think of a woman and you think of somebody that looks like Jessica Simpson with a common name like Sarah.

She probably had a weird name that was gender neutral, was probably black or possibly Latina, big and overweight, drugged up, attitude, dirty and they didn't even look at her carefully.
