So I go into Home Depot earlier today... happy to purchase these CFL light bulbs. (And they went down in price by the way.) Anyways... the sales associate comes over and says... can I help you with something? I said I think I know what I'm getting. As I grab a set of these CFL light bulbs... the associate goes OH!!! You need the new LED bulbs. I said I do? It saves 85% electricity than the original light bulb. I said... that's a huge savings! But the price of one LED bulb is like $11-$13... and I'm like WTF?

So has anyone done the math yet? You can get the CFL's now for as low as $1.33 each. You couldn't get em for that price before. And they said that they were the best a year or so ago!

So do you choose the LED bulb that saves 85% that costs around $11-$13

Or

Do you choose the CFL at $1.33 and they are suppose to save you around $65.00 in electricity each bulb... for one year.

I'm stumped. And I thought gambling was tough.

I was so confused... I put the CFL's back and said... sh#$ I have to think about this one.
