i don't like gamestop as a business, don't see them having a bright future. know people who worked there and they said bad things about the future of gamestop. too much competition online and from other retailers. seems pretty cheap though.

They may be adapting a bit and if consoles come back there could be some time left.

Competition is there but they may have a growth plan. I'm going to look further but thanks for the info. On a value play like that, hearing from employees can make a difference. In the end it will be about the management. If I continue the story from the other page it will lead us into time at Prudential Securities (which doesn't exist anymore) to investment banking, to my own fundraising and shell company transactions, to eventually Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, Inc.

Looking at trading interfaces and platforms as well, but I suppose the main online brokers will have all I really need. There are some outside of brokerages but the costs are just plain unnecessary.

Schwab, TD Ameritrade, and I think E trade for options. There are others, but that will probably due unless costs get out of hand.

It seems like it's easy to make a new crypto with specific benefits or to solve another cryptos shortcomings. When will it end? There are so many. It's not like bitcoin has a management that can change with the environment. If the tech changes slightly and it's the change some major well known company needs to adopt, then old tech and old cryptos lose their luster with no chance of coming back.

Keeping some money there and may try to trade these things a small bit. Might just consider that money gone until I realize something from it. In other words not include it in the overall financial picture.

If you were right, and Porto was overbought, then that score should increase the buying. It's ok to lose bets, now may just not have been the time. It could be about patience. First they get overbought from recent performance, then a score like this. Pretty you soon you see a trap style line then eventually the markets have taken a few times, before they give back.

Could be part of money stacking.

I made 2 mistakes with this bet. Probably i only made it for the sake of betting since i already won this bet the last game vs Porto.
But clearly i lack of discipline (pacience) on this bet.

Even though the Porto its still overbought, its not by that much. I know now what you meant with money piling up on one side and right now the money is pilling on the Porto side.

It could not even pay in this season, it could only pay in the next season. Cuz yes, money flow its trough seasons as well.

what if they just make a new crypto thats better and replaces/fixes all the ones now? what if regulation comes down and effectively bans it or makes it harder to transact?

the big cryptos already have a footing with a wider decentralized network and people running nodes everywhere. what if bans don't come down? what if companies start using it for trial runs and there are real applications used by ethereum or smart contract coins? any hint of positive news or interest can bump the price. ethereum is the sexiest/safest to me, the smart contract aspect has upside as opposed to coins that are more like a currency replacement.
