    N.Y. high school names same-sex couple as 'cutest' in yearbook

    God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, the US is next. This is just horrible!! An awful example to set for younger people. These two should be in custody, as homosexuality is a mental disorder/disease of the body and brain and these two could be a danger to society as a whole.

    They certainly should not be celebrated...as they are, and the people who celebrate them.....sick, demented, diabolical, and perverted,filthy trash.

What makes it different in the case of Carmel, New York, High School seniors Dylan Meehan and Bradley Taylor is what they won: the superlative of "Cutest Couple," as highlighted in the school yearbook.
    And until the news went viral, the decision, says Carmel Principal Kevin Carroll, "hasn't really been a big deal in the school."
    "I thought at this stage as we are now, it shouldn't be a news event. All the reactions are coming from outside. The yearbooks were distributed Wednesday, and we didn't get any calls until someone posted it online," Carroll, whose school is about 65 miles north of New York City, told CNN Tuesday.
    Taylor, 17, said he sees the honor as a great achievement and a turning point for their school.
    "At first we weren't able to run because for the title, they were only allowed to pick a boy and a girl," he told CNN. "But a bunch of our friends made an uproar, and they changed it. So now you vote 'student one' and 'student two.' And I guess a lot of people voted for us and we won. So many people came up to us saying, 'You guys are going to win.'"

    If people want to be gay together, let them be gay, but don't ruin a school tradition by trying to be cute and bring forth unwanted attention. All this is going to do is turn these lovers into a bigger joke than it needs to be and piss off everyone else.

    When I was in high school, there was a gay black kid(back when being gay wasn't a big deal like it is now) and he wanted to be a cheerleader, but there were no(and never were) male cheerleaders in my school system, so they gave in and let this kid dress up in a marching band type costume and then go to games and functions and dance around with the cheerleaders. It was very tacky and the female cheerleaders hated it because he made a spectacle out of himself and took away attention from the girls.

    Keep the tradition what it is supposed to be and quit caving in and using gay people as scapegoats for attention.

    I understand being a f\*g is not a choice. What gets me is how these fags celebrate their sickness as if it's something to be proud of. Would one be proud of suffering from other mental illness?
