Is there a legit PC repair/fixer/cleaner

PC Mag says CleanMyPC is legit and then I read people saying it’s a scam.

PC Mag says Iolo System Mechanic is legit and then I read people saying it’s a scam.

PC Mag says AVG PC Tuneup is legit and then I read people saying it’s a scam.

I’m like WTF? Is there a legit PC repair/fixer/cleaner to download that’s not a scam according to someone?

I don't want to pay 100 bucks for a rip off.

    Help please?

What are you looking for though? Something to get rid of malware/spyware, or just something to make your computer run a little smoother? If it's the latter, try Ace Utilities. I've been using it for a few years now - it cleans up the registry, gets rid of traces of programs that aren't on your PC anymore, lets you control which programs load up automatically on startup (stuff you don't even use but that ends up using up your memory anyways), etc... Pretty much an all in one.

Partition your drive and store media and documents separately than the drive you install Windows on. Then back up all your hardware drivers. Then format every 6 months. Doesn't get better than that.

AVG works for you Vegas39? I check the AVG PC tune up customer reviews and people say rip off. It looks good and the price is right.

I want to get rid of all the the computer freezes, fix all the errors, get rid of junk files, and make my computer faster as if it was brand new again.

I tried to play a game of golf today with my friend 222 and my computer was slow as fack. We played like 3 holes of golf and then it completely crashed.

After that happened I started looking for ways to fix my computer so I could play that game but all I found were good sounding programs with user reviews saying rip off.

I was about to buy CleanMyPC cuz I see the commercial on TV everyday, then I read about the bad reviews, and it scares me off.

I’ve been looking for a legit one for hours now. I just want my computer to be fast enough to play multi-player golf on WTG with my SBR bros.

I know my computer is the problem cuz I use my high speed Internet to play x-box 360 live.

Damn keyboarding you are way more computer literate than I am. Thanks for your help fellas.

If you are going to spend money to clean your computer..bring it to a PC shop and let the pros there wipe your hard-drive clean and reinstall all of your programs and files after the cleansing.

I've had to do that a couple fo times after getting viruses that I could not fix. The PC is like new again. After that use a good malware program such as www.hitmanpro.com, (free for 30 days..and cheap to buy) and ccleaner, defragler, (both free) and you should be good to go. Install www.malwarebytes.com too, another good FREE program to rid yourself of crap on your computer.

Yeah, you need to reformat. Just grab a USB card or drive and back up everything that is important to you (pictures, documents, videos, etc). Then get your hands on a Windows installation CD and follow the steps. Doesn't take long at all. Just make sure you download all the drivers (audio, video, and wireless card are most important) before you do it. It just sounds complicated, it really isn't.

    God bless, pal.

or rollback using your system restore points under system tools.
if that doesn't fix the issue, then do a clean system install as mentioned above, after backing up your data.

I will never, neva, eva...eva..eva quit watching pu$$y porn 222...

I used system restore and used IE as my browser instead of firefox and I was able to play WGT golf with 222 with no problems.

If my system continues to work I won't buy anything. I was about to buy AVG PC tune up. I'll buy it if I have to or I was also looking into buying a new computer.

Thanks for all your help fellas and have a great playoff weekend fellas...
