    One game playoff is a joke

    Atlanta deserves to have a series with the season they had. Now they could be out on a one off where even the rockies could win. Seriously if you are gonna expand why not just shorten season by 8 games and let 6 teams in with top 2 records getting bye and other 4 facing each other in two sep 5 game series. Then go by seed from there. So stupud this one game crap.

    Yeah it is pretty stupid. Heavy favs lose every day in this sport espically with that position called the reliever. It also penetrates up the whole staff because they have to use anything and everything to win.

    Agree LB it is idiotic.

    But here's the other thing: If you give teams a bye and then one of those teams plays flat and gets bounced you're going to get the whole argument that their rhythm was thrown off.

    MLB and sports in general can never just leave things the way they are. Always gotta tweak to get a few extra bucks.

    yeah 1-game eliminations are so unfair.... maybe the nfl should adopt a best of 3.

    i only like it cuz division winner gets an advantage.
    Its harder hot at the end and win it all.

    It rewards the teams who were consistent all year.

    Wildcard teams have to throw their ace in the 1 game playoff. And cant throw them in division series in 1 and 5.
