Was thinking of opening a Krispy Kreme...

The markup from the cost on a $1 donut has to be about 2500%, plus a good way too meet fat chicks.

Looked up info on their site and was very dissapointed:

The initial investment to begin operation ranges from $928,000 to $1,883,250 for a Krispy Kreme Factory Store.
Applicants must meet the following criteria to gain consideration:

    • Passionate about the Krispy Kreme brand and products
    • Proven track record of running a successful multi-unit restaurant business
    • Highly committed to providing great customer service
    • Financial resources to fund a multi-unit store development plan including a minimum $1 million in liquid assets and a minimum net worth of $2 million.
    • No racist internet posts for the last 30 days

How can a Krispy Kreme cost 1.5 million to open? What a ripoff. I am open to other business ideas if you have any advice.

You got to be a fukking retard to put that much money up front.

Fuk them and their shit donuts.

Can get one twice the size, just as good and half the price at your local grocery store.

Krispy Kreme is a scam. They make money on franchise fees , they could care less about doughnuts.

LOL no racist internet posts in 30 days.

And you wonder how 20 year old kids can manage to open up multiple restaurants...I know most aren't close to this price, but it's surprising how much the krispy kreme costs for startup.
