As long as we agree that IE is not usable, there is nothing egregious about using Firefox. For instance, my fiance can't use chrome and absolutely hates it, and is currently surfing the web on firefox right next to me - no matter how many times I have tried to convert her. She isn't a technophobe either.

As an aside, for the first few months using chrome, I kept bookmarking things in firefox, and was using it solely as a bookmarking tool because Chrome's bookmarking system is retarded. I have stopped doing that because it is a pain in the ass, and have just organized by bookmarks better. Still sucks.

chalky, when will chrome improve its bookmarking? personally won't consider switching over to it until it does. i can definitely see all the advantages for android users though.

Have used both a bunch... my issue is that presently I have 8 tabs open in Firefox... but only 1 executable is running. If I have 8 tabs open within 1 chrome session I get 8 executables (1 for each tab). Really taxes the processor. Oh, and Chrome's bookmarking / favorites sucks. Oh, and Firefox offers the NoScript, etc. add ons.

Brave without a doubt!!! Blocks adds runs way faster then chrome. It allows you to transfer all your bookmarks over to it. So all you have to is download it and nothing changes from what you were doing before. Except it runs faster and blocks all the popup and ads. Also if you want to watch the ads you get basic attention tokens that you can sell. It's not alot about a few dollars a month but it's something.

    This.

    Brave browser > chrome

Chrome is trash these days with google being evil.

Firefox is ok. But not as innovative or feature rich as brave.
