Don't get me wrong some states have way to harsh punishments like VA where I live but this shit is just silly...... Don't even care about the specific circumstance this guy is a convicted murderer.....

Guy gets only 4 years for Murder AND weapons violations AND is allowed out for a work detail!!! Have friends that did more time on offenses that were not even remotely violent and certainly not murder for their 1st offenses as well. Guess positive side is when he gets caught he will do another 5-10 on escape charges in max security. Fcking idiot. Was nearing the end of his sentence too.
