6''1 about 185. I think I'd have to weigh 230-240 to be medically obese.

    BMI Categories:

    • Underweight = <18.5
    • Normal weight = 18.5–24.9
    • Overweight = 25–29.9
    • Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater

My BMI is actually 24.4... I'm close to being 'overweight' surprisingly.

    BMI formula is:

Weight divided by Height in inches squared then multiply that number by 703 for those curious.

It isn't perfect, but at the same time, most people who are medically obese are that way because of fat.

If you're obese you either don't work hard enough at work, or you eat too much. I was unemployed for 2.5 years and literally did nothing and never got higher than 180 pounds. Weighabout 160 nowadays.

I'm sure Age wasn't a piece of that puzzle right? I'd bet 500 bucks you are under 30, based on that post. I know there are super skinny guys that can't put on weight past the age of 30, but its rare. I was super skinny until 38 when I first got a bit of a paunch. Then I started working out, and the stomach flattened but I couldn't gain muscle. Now at almost 50 I've gotten bigger, no stomach but smooth all over.

when bad calories are much cheaper than good calories, obesity is inevitable.

I eat mostly vietnamese food which consists of healthy herbs & vegetables. Most viet food are fresh and not processed. Dont eat red meat much.

Diet , exercise, and avoidance of excessive red meat is the key.

if you eat red meat make sure its from a health food store I prefer the big national chain . The red meat is not bad , its the process of the big markets and meat vendors that will kill you , red meat can't have any growth hormones or steroids if they do you will poison your system ,another fact is chicken has to be processed correctly if not its the same as eating poison, and it must be air dried.Today there is plentyu of info on the web .Iwas a student of this 40 years ago, I learned alot from a friend from N.Y. he was way before his time with knowledge.
