The Best Movies You've Seen This Year

    My suggestion is Drive.

Gosling is brilliant as an introverted, enigmatic stuntdriver who also escorts criminals away during getaways on the side. He gets into some deep shit that I don't want to ruin for you. This movie is extremely original and authentic, from the soundtrack, to the style of directing .It's one of those "art-decko" films that some will be turned off by. For me, these types of films are quite refreshing.

And who the **** is Gosling? Guys seems overrated, this is the first time I've heard of him. Is he the husband of the Octomom?

Guy is NOT overrated. He's starred in alot of underrated movies such as Drive, Lars and the Real Girl, Fracture, and Half Nelson.

His performance made the movie great. Underrated young actor who gets more exposure for his looks than his acting.

Moneyball, Ides of March, or the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. I agree about Gosling, one of the best actors out there right now.

I'm definitely going to see Ides of March. Also saw the MMA movie Warrior. It was ok. Coming from an MMA fan, the fight scenes were cheesy and unrealistic. Good acting performances from the stars of the cast though. I thought The Fighter from 2010 was better though.

I was expecting Ides of March to be much more intriguing or have more plot.

When it ended is when I thought the movie was gonna get good.

The Killing of A Chinese Bookie. They have shown it 3 years in a row to my knowledge after the superbowl on sundance I believe. Could be IFC, one of the movie channels on directv not named HBO or showtime.

Completely forgot about 50/50. That was excellent also. Great performance by Joseph Gordon-Levitt as usual. Rogan was solid comic relief.

Funniest part of the movie was when Levitt gets high and laughs at one of the cancer patients.

Best movie I've watched this year is a documentary called 'Surviving Progress'. It might not be new, I find found it on Netflix instant.

So Drive was great and Girl With the Dragon Tattoo was not as good. Apparently you can't pay attention to a movie that makes you think...Who woulda thought.

But I guess some people don't like those types of movies, so to each his own.
