    take 12K and buy a car cash ... take take 12k put it down on a 30k house (in this market, thats a decent 2 bedroom, mortgage would be less than 200$ a month) ... take 6k, and try to triple it, if u do, pay off the house ... living debt free w no bills but insurance and utilities ... thats my ******* dream!

    i completely agree with this statement but where are you that a decent house is 30k? detroit? I live in CA and a decent home is 150-200k( and this is with market depreciation 40-60%). I thought arizona and new mexico was dirt cheap but home there are still 70-90k. I really need to move if i can get a house for 30k in a decent city that i wont get robbed every time i leave my house.

    900 sq feet. Is that even considered a house. I live in a 2bdrm apt bigger than that. But yes that is pretty cheap regardless but anything smaller than 1500 sq feet is unliveable.
