    Hollywood Video has been long gone in my area (at least I haven't seen any)

    Blockbusters are closing shop quickly. I can only think of one that is relatively close and I hardly see anyone going in there. There is a Red Box in the supermarket directly next door. Buildings are even connected

    really hate to see blockbuster die with their 30 day passes on promo right now im saving a ton on new release video games. That would really suck if they close shop

    They were all set to roll out the Qkwikster model for DVDs but customers complained about having to log into two accounts so they dropped it.

    blockbuster went bankrupt and was purchased by dish network. They no longer focus on brick and mortar and are rolling out a streaming service to dish subscribers.

    good time to buy netflix actually...but better to wait few more quarters. I think loses are expected in next 2 quarters as well because of expansion in europe. Buy netflix after next year quarter 1...it will be around 50s I think.

    People are durs to canceled netflix over the ******* 7 dollar raise or whatever it was. It was still the best rate going. netflix gonna keep switching more and more to all internet rentals. which is a much better idea, dvds will be out in 10 years most likely anyways.
