Imperial Palace vs Bally's or Luxor

I got some pretty good advice here re: vegas hotels and the consensus was that Imperial Palace is terrible and dirty.
I'm sure thats true, but I have nothing specific to compare to.
Ive stayed at Bally's and Luxor and found them both to be fine for my needs.

Has anybody stayed at IP and Ballys and/or Luxor? are they similar or is IP way worse?

man for the price Excalibur aint bad , and when you think about how much time you are NOT going to be staying in your room/hotel it is worth it , def check out southwest deals on the non-stop + hotel they have going on...btw I think its Tues or Wed the best days to book your stay

I've stayed at Ballys and IP. IP is way worse. I know people don't spend much time in the rooms, but you will definitely not want to spend time in an IP room. If Bally's was rated a 7 for room accomodations, then IP would definitely be a 5 or lower.

    thanks Colts, good info.

Went to eat at Hooters on the strip once and in a billion years I wouldnt stay there, just based on the restaurant and casino.
im guessing IP is closer to that.

dont stay at IP. Its cheap for a reason. Every floor looks like a ghetto apartment.
Spend 10 bucks more and stay at Harrahs.

I didn't think IP's rooms were any worse than your average Holiday Inn type of hotel. No where near terrible. Plus I only paid like $23 bucks a night.
