    Car guys... question on tires

How often do you put some occasional pressure adjustment in your tires..... every couple months?

cars with alloy rims should be checked more often when they start to show signs of corrosion. the leak will normally be at the rim edge.

Every car is different... it's typically all about the rims of your car. Just like bb_skoots... said... if you keep the seal clean around the rim edge... you could go 2 months without checking... but if you keep your car dirty and corrosion occurs... you'll be checking them every 2 weeks. I use to have a car that did that... it was such a pain in the a$$. Unfortunately, only solution is clean the tire yourself every 4-7 days yourself... or use a car wash each week. It really does help.

I got aluminum rims....run nitrogen in the tires...I never check tire pressure...I've put 17k miles on my latest set of tires with one tire rotation so far, and last time I looked at them they still looked new almost...

This is on a 4-wheel drive full size pick-up with a fairly aggressive tread pattern as well.....
