What to do if you see mysterious charges on your CC statement?

I have just received my statement and there are two purchases I know I did not make. What are the steps to take to get refunded? Do I have to contact the CC companies or the places the purchases were made? I have a feeling there would be more purchases too but luckily my card is maxed out.

Contact your bank and they should take care of it for you.

I have never funded an account with this card, so I am 100% sure this is fraud. I checked the websites out it said I purchased from and one was a snowboarding site, the other was for orthodontics.

There's some snowboarding fiend out there with bad teeth and he needs to be brought to justice.

My daughter just got nailed with two fraud charges on her DC. Someone local
got her, not on-line. $1000 at a tattoo parlor? Was one of them.

I've gotten nailed with $4,000 CC charges, making on-line purchases. Funny thing is,
I knew who did it. I pressed charges, but never heard anything about it.

Yes, your CC card company will shut down your card. You aren't liable for the charges.
They will issue you a new card. But, you do have to call them. Most CC card companies will
call if they think something's going on and need you to verify a purchase.

Call your CC company immediately and let
them know about this. Always check your statement
every month for fraudulent activity. This sh** is rampant.
