Cost for tooth extraction and fake tooth

I've got a tooth that needs to go and need a false tooth as well and was wondering if anyone knows how much it may cost.

Well obviously every place is going to be different and its going to depend on your insurance, if you have any. But, i had crowns put in a few months ago and it was $800 per tooth, i had two. My insurance covered a little more than half........

The thing is No insurance at all, just looking to see how much I may have to pay to get a back tooth removed and replaced. Also how is the whole process like?

looks like calling around a few dental places is going to be your best option ... $300 and $500 to have a tooth pulled .. damn .. I'd want a topless blonde nymph doing it for that kind of money.

damn for pulling a tooth the price could be any where from $100-$500 and thats not even including getting a fake tooth or whatever put in to replace it.

i almost had to get one pulled in the upper back that was giving me some problems and they couldnt figure out what it was.

might still have to get it pulled. i have good insurance and just for the extraction it will be 325

Been bad for a while, but have been too cheap to pay for the process, but has been getting worse recently so the time to pay for it has come. I read it could take up 3-9 to get the fake tooth in as there are a few processes that will also need time to heal. Really would like to hear any experience with this.

my dentist quoted 4k for what you are describing. insurance would play 50% of that. if you do not have insurance you should get as many quotes as possible - somebody will do this much cheaper for cash

Check out areas with a lot of Mexicans. They have cheap health clinics that often include a dental office. Or you could try out Mexico. Lot of Californians have their teeth work done in Tijuana. Same quality as in the US, sometimes better.

You can also get a dental plan online for around $100/150 ... they become active the following day ... and will probably save you a few hundred ...

Can't put a crown on if you have no tooth structure or implant. You would probably have to go with a bridge. Contact a local dental school and get some cheap work done

If you follow the links .. put in your zip .. then "compare plans" .. using the tabs at the top of the comparison page it will show "Participating dentists" .. click on the number in that column and you will get a list of them ...

... here in Tulsa some of the plans had 130 dentists that accepted them .. you should be able to find a plan that will work for you that will have a decent choice of dentists as long as you are near to a half decent size town.

Thanks I appreciate the help, I think I'm going to go with Alliance HealthCard Gold Card. It coud save me alot on the tooth extraction and the crown, but not sure if they will help with the implant

Still call three or four places for prices .. even with the discounts - there can be a huge difference.
    Good Luck.

Just found out/reminded that I was on an Avia dental plan which I have had for 6 months and never used and still have 6 months of. They don't have a lot of options, but I'm gonna see if anyone could get me in tomorrow and if the price is not that different from the others I'm gonna do it.
