Not 60s but in my mind one of the best kept secrets in music: Kid Creole and The Coconuts. He is quite the showman.

Been on a Gerry Rafferty kick lately. The whole "City To City" album is great. Has both classics "Baker Street" and "Right Down The Line".

He was also part of the duo Stealers Wheels. "Stuck in the Middle With You"..... made popular again thanks to Reservoir Dogs

Kenny Chesney - The Boys Of Fall

I am a country music fan and have quite a few that I like, but that one still gives me goosebumps. Reminds me of when I was in high school & playing football.

Im 22 but real big into 60's music as well. Beatles, Stones, Pink Floyd, The Kinks are some of my favorites. As far as albums go you should check out Loaded by the Velvet Underground, The Kinks are the village green preservation society by the Kinks obviously, Pink Floyd Dark side of the moon is pretty sick as well. Also something not well known but I find to be pretty damn awesome is Odyssey and Oracle by the Zombies. Thats rather popish 60's but still good and if your looking for something a little more hard rock check out Cream Disrael Gears, Its Eric Clapton's early work. I could go on for days about 60's and 70's music because its all pretty sick.

quicksilver had the great piano player nicky hopkins
he played on albums and toured with all the big groups of the late 60's early 70's
he married the sister of this kid that lived up the street from me
around 72 i think the guy asked me if i wanted to go with him and his parents to msg to see the stones who nicky was touring with
i told him no because it was the same night as the mlb all star game on tv

i was around 10thgrade and way more into baseball than music
