Almost 30 posts a day... you draw your own conclusion. To answer the OP's question, I think a lot of it has to do with jealousy. The US, with as great a country as it is, can't stand the fact that it's smaller, northern neighbour: consistently (actually always) outranks itself in every "Quality of Life Indexes", has lower crime rates, has universal health care, has a more sound government and doesn't impose themselves as the world's police force, is respected more around the world when its citizens travel abroad, has a much more stable economy, doesn't have a corrupt government, doesn't outlaw many freedoms such as online gaming, I could go on and on here... but I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that the US has always seen Canada as a competitor when it comes to every the US is proud of, such as freedoms, rights, quality of life, integrity, tolerance (lack of racism), education, economic power, etc. Does the US rag on Canada as much as they do on Mexico? LOL, not even close. It's because Mexico isn't a threat to the US and their superiority. Due to Americans and their superiority complex, they feel a need to rag on Canadians because they view them as a competitor. -200 says that over 75% of the posters here who rag on Canadians have never visited Canada nor have actually got to know a Canadian.
