Is this M-F? What type of work? Age? Family? So many missing variables.

6-2 is a slam dunk. I wish I could change my schedule to be 6-2. Get half your workday done before anyone even shows up, then you've got the whole afternoon to yourself. Damn.

done both, and definitely I would take 6-2. When I worked swing, I ended up going to the bars at night after work, closing the bars, going home and sleeping until noon get up and basically go to work. Its OK for a while, but it gets old. 6-2 causes you to go to bed earlier, and when you get off at 2 during the spring, summer and fall, you have a good portion of the day available for whatever you like, can still hit a happy hour and get home at a decent time. I always liked 6-2 as my hours.

the best shift is no shift...but if you can get up early and don't want to stay up late go for the 6am-2pm perfect for race track bettors and 7:05 sports contests....

The early shift and it's not even close. I worked 6-3 for awhile and it was great. But the time you wake up and get back from lunch. It's 1 o'clock and damn near time to go.
