    Does anyone really give a sh1t about Easter?

    I think most just like the food(me). Most people dont go to church to celebrate Easter...and if they do, they are hypocrites.

    Easter is the Resurrection of Jesus -- Resurrection is when Jesus returned to bodily life the third day after his death via crucifixion. Ascension is when Jesus's resurrected body is returned to heaven 40 days after the resurrection. Nice try looking Christian pal.

    Been struggling with my Christianity for years. Easter has meaning for me still, just clouded due to my lack of effort and interest in my 20's and now 30's. Not a positive feeling in my life when I think about it... hope to improve it and still feel my religion is important.
