Run a series, let the top 2 - 4 highest scorers be Captains and pick teams out of other Top Qualifiers for the main event, something along those lines.

Poker is not a team sport so I prefer the format of the last series. I thought it was perfect.

I would like to see the dailies pay top 6 instead of 8, so the prizes would be better and it would force the players to try to build stacks and actually play.

Also I liked the 7pm spot better than the 8pm time on the dailies.

i find that one boring. I didn't play a single daily for those 5 months this last year. I didn't like seeing 2 guys go 0-4 the previous year and win 10k based on their teammates carrying them. I can see where weak players would like that though.

Not sure what you are talking about but 2 players on the 2017 confeds team lost all 4 matches and still won the 1st place prize.

This is the best option.

I'd also be fine with a 3 month long leaderboard that is paid out based on leaderboard standings at the end of the 3 months and not paid out by your finish in one single tournament at the end.

Or maybe Holdem Bounty tournaments with a bounty on every players head in addition to points for placing. If software can't track that then you just need to post your claim with hand history in a poker forum thread.

Or, you could continue with the daily tournaments and have a 3 month event with prizes for winning at the holdem tables with certain hands announced that day, set up a bad beat prize and Royal Flush prize etc If software can't track that then you have to post your claim with hand history in a poker forum thread.

Having 3 qualifying tourneys a day sucks. It's always the same group of players qualifying against each other @ 3pm, 8pm & 11pm. Players should qualify together. I'm for getting rid of Events & bringing back higher paying dailies as others have suggested.

some ideas`:
1 Support Mpaschal and bring back better payouts and eliminate promos.

2 Bring back Saturdays 2000 pts. tournaments.( this tourny had great participation on sat noon._)

3 high rollers tournaments with re buy option

4 If the 300 p é points payout still on bring in bounty player to compensate 600 points for the tournament winners, 600 points bounty distributed among players.

5 reword yearly scoreboard winner and include all tournaments points in the calculations.

6 Rollovers only Monday to Friday, with an 4 hours window while tournaments are played.

7 cash tables NLH and PLO

8 One Big tournament for the top 10 players who had won the majority of tournaments at the end of the year.


Not to many will like some of my opinions but is an opportunity to start disusing something that worked in the past, and may work out again.

I suggest bringing back the triathlon or biathlon(poker + handicapping contest). There was a triathlon in 2013 and 2014. Those had blackjack in addition to poker and hoops capping. Anyways, that was pretty popular.

End of the month tournaments for anyone who cashed in a daily that month. End of the year tournament for anyone who cashed in a monthly tournament.

A Sunday evening buy-in tournament. Something around 100 points. Or a free entry and big payout would work too.

Pretty much everything is done recently is quite good, though I would suggest some changes for sure.

(1) No promo with the old daily payouts is quite reasonable.

(2) Promo like the World Cup where it's done by team draft rather than by country/continent to make it fair to everyone involved is a good idea I think.

(3) The last promo was quite good in formatting also - the final tournament should not have 100 players imo, too much of a crapshoot then, reward the top qualifiers rather than letting everyone who gives even a halfway effort into the Final, 30 or so in the final event is much better.

Thanks SBR! Really liked the increase in daily contests of all types that have been running, those are quite cool - minimal effort to enter with some fun sweating action involved!

Here is my main suggestion. Do not use the newer format over the past few weeks with the added chips to start at 2500. The tournaments take too long and are not worth more than a 1500 starting stack at the current 300 point first place prize

- go back to 1500 starting stack or faster blind levels
- make series qualification 2 months or less
- make only best 4-5 finishes count to eliminate the need to play 5 days a week to even have a chance to make the big dance
