    Jay, I'm seeing Polk w/ 42k chips remaining. Still alive, I think.

    But we may have viewed the Matchups incorrectly. Playing on Day 1A is a disadvantage, just b/c they could get knocked out earlier.

    I'm not saying she's likable. I don't think she is likable.

    But I've watched enuf of her video. I have to say she's pretty good. SOMETIMES, she pushes her (busted) hand too hand. Opponents know this and sometimes pay off her big holdings.

    A few things to consider:

    1) Remember how much luck is involved in one individual poker-tournament. I see that some of the former champs are already out (JYang) or are running on fumes.

    2) Was talking to one of my poker-friends. He brought up a good point. One the trickier hands, if u run a bluff, it better be vs a top-pro. The lower-end players will simply call u down. In his mind, that downgrades value of younger pros that can get bluffy. Older more straight-fwd players should do well, b/c they can take their made hands to Value-town.

    Jay, link above. Flop was A75 (all clubs). Turn was 7.

    Selbst tanked b4 Calling. She was figuring out what hands Baumann was calling on Button:

    * Baumann could have smaller Boats. 55 or A7(suited). Selbst is saying that the only non-donkey Pre-Flop call is A7(h) and possibly 55. That's only 7 combinations. And Selbst seems to think Baumann WOULDN'T shove w/ 55, so that's only one combination.

    I mentioned previously that a few of those guys might not play:

    * I really can't believe Holz might not have bothered to fly over.

    Holz is a brilliant guy. Sure, he ran good, too. His successful tournament run was virtually unprecedented.

    Guy was so good that he semi-retired at a very young age. Given his track record, I thought for sure he would have the trip for ME. Maybe not.
