Poker players love to think they have unique skill and are smarter then everyone else. My experience is that it mainly about patience and playing good hands, with a little luck. Waiting for the other gamblers to lose patience and try to bluff you when you have the right cards. Overly aggressive players I believe even out over time. Just like every other time of gambling 95% are down over time.

Most people playing poker can't beat the game for several reasons, and very rarely is luck the deciding factor. For those who lack the skill, then yes, it's just gambling with varying degrees of losing. For those who have the skills, there's not much gambling to it.

Shrug, he's incapable of new material intentionally it seems, but every once in while he contradicts himself in a new vaguely entertaining way. For example, him getting bent out of shape for accidentally misquoting him, then him intentionally doing it to you a few posts later...that gave me a chuckle, all the more because he doesn't seem capable of realizing that bad taste in his mouth is his foot (and quite possibly Donk's ass)
