The nice thing about playing good tournament poker (like donk) is that you don't waste much time...you put yourself in a position to do well early or you go out. When playing timid supernit poker (lets call it bobbo style), you still lose (and usually do worse)...it just wastes more time. In other words, going out 30th from a 2 outter (as donk pretty much did today) is far better than folding your way to a 15th (as you often do)

Good point & some people don't prefer heads up over tournies & ring games. I have Tripe's number, but its not stopping him from donating 29k to me.

Post of the year. I'm a cash player my whole life and had to learn this lesson. Running terrible doesnt help but made an epic comeback for 6th yesterday

Not so much; your posts typically refer to facts, but draw conclusions that are contrary to widely-known facts (such as a bogus definition of "ROI", claiming success vs. people that aren't competeing, thinking an ELO-based rating means anything, etc)...no sources for those because there can't be any, aside from your desperate attempts to re-categorize yourself as anything but a terrible poker player.

I don't see anything wrong with it either...if you're focused on winning as much as possible, it makes sense to avoid situations where you're more likely to lose than win. In this case, bobby avoids ring games all together (as it seems very likely he'd be crushed and lose quite a bit), and only wants to flip or chop omaha h/l hands to rollover his winnings from dailies (where he would be unable to claim even moderate success if SBR didn't run them with 500%+ overlays). No shame in admitting you're not good enough to play against other players or in certain situations, but bobbo's idiocy (avoiding almost any form of actual poker yet claiming to be the best) clearly deserves to be called out and recgonized for the delusion that it is
