5-8 Participants
1st place: 66%
2nd place: 28%

9+ Participants
1st place: 48%
2nd place: 28%
3rd place: 18%

6% to person posting most results during period (explained below)

Entry Fee: Variable, with minimum 50 points, maximum 500 points, in 50 point intervals. Every interval a player buys in for over the base 50 points qualifies him for the next level of payout. See 2nd post for example of how this works!!

Scored contests: Daily tournaments from May 1st to May 31st (inclusive) will be counted towards a player's final score. Official scoring will be observed by players posting screenshots of their Cashier window before their first playing their first daily in May. The window to get and post screenshots is smaller due to not doing it around the weekend, be sure you grab one before playing! Sreenshots can be posted in this thread.

Informal scoring: to keep a running score, players are encouraged to post screen shots of each daily tournament after it's finished, from which participants' scores will be informally calculated and periodically updated. To incentivize this, 6% of the total prize pool will be awarded to the player who first posts the most daily tourney results to this thread.

Prizes awarded based strictly on final leaderboard standings among participants. For example: 1st place prize goes to highest place finisher among participants, 2nd to 2nd highest, etc).

Registration will close on Wednesday, May 1st at 6:00 AM EST. I'll hold points for the duration of the contest and keep them in my sportsbook balance separate from my personal points.

I will once again offer a free play to the participant with the best performance overall in the amount of 20 points per entrant.

Example Situation:

Players 1-4 enter for 50 points, players 5-7 enter for 250 points, players 8-10 enter for 500 points. 3 pools are generated: a 500 point pool for the 50 point level (10 players), a 1200 additional point pool for the 250 point level (6 players), and a 750 additional point pool for 500 point level (3 players)

Players finish in following order:

5,2,3,8,6,4,10,7,1,9

50 point level pays Players 5,2,3 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd (9+ entries)
250 point level pays Players 5, 8 for 1st and 2nd (5+ entries)
500 point level pays 8 for 1st (<5 entries)

6% of total (135 points) goes to whichever player posts most updates from dailies. Player 5 wins the 500 point freeplay from me.

If any player fails to post their screenshot of the cashier in the specified timeframe, they will be treated as not placing for the purposes of prizes...very important to do this so we can track with 100% certainty!!

I am going to try and get 500 points by tomorrow, but I will play in the 100 contest no matter what

It doesnt look like we will get the same turnout as before, so I have a suggestion. I am entering tomorrow first of all.



Because of the small turnout, I dont believe that posting the daily results is really neccessary. Lets do it this way if you agree

1. First of all, lets only count wins of 10th place or better. That equates to a minimum of 100 points needed to count for our contest. My reasoning here is that those type of wins will certainly receive a badge as proof of your win.

2. If one DOES finish in the top 10, then they need to make a post in this thread or grading thread telling everyone of their finish. Now this will sound like alot of posts, but we have less than 8 players. Of those 8, probably only 2-3 will make the money each day. So there would not be that many posts needed.

3. We can just get rid of paying out the 6% altogether and keep it in the pool.

There's badges for top 12, so that's what should be counted. Since we get badges, posting daily results shouldn't be necessary. We only need a volunteer or hired hand to calculate the contestants weekday badges & post daily or weekly standings.

I know that you get badges for 11th and 12th, but penetrate those are less than 100 points. We dont need those counting and adding posts to the grading thread. It really wont be hard to calculate weekly standings if we base it on top 10. Hell I will do daily standings if only top 10 is counted, that shouldnt take me very long at all

I'm OK with counting badges weekly instead of posting daily results, but it's bound to be less accurate. Definitely have to count the 11th and 12th places too, the difference between 1st and 2nd can easily come down to a handful of points. Either way, inaccurate standings greatly reduce the fun of having updated standings in the first place...but it's really up to whoever is going to take the time to track this! The 6% of the pool certainly isn't worth the time it takes to track this stuff, more of a "thank you" as a courtesy.

But I think that just making a post each time you make the money is all that we need. I mean we are all posting screenshots, so we can just look at screenshots when we are done.

All points count regardless of finishes for official standings (all that matters is difference between start and finish screenshots), but for "unoffcial" daily/weekly standings it's up to whoever tracks it.

Damn you dont have to be a bitch about it. It is just 40 and 60 points!!


But you win, we will count everything (even though only the top 5 should really get paid in these tournaments). I just said that I would keep the standings if we stopped at 10 places. No big deal, we will count them all, but how about you keep the unofficial standings bobbywaves? I dont really care about the standings anyway, all I can control is my own game. At the end of hte month, if my points win something then great.


I do think that when one makes the money in any tournament that they need to make a post about it in this thread. Only about 2 or 3 of each day will make the money anyway, then we dont have to rely on badges at all.

I think that we can recruit carseller4 to keep the standings for about 50 points. He really needs the points, so it is sort of like charity as well

That's my prerogative PO, I'll play if & when the rules suit me & my style of play. You like trying to change structure for no good reason. I'm not interested in keeping standings, nor will I post or track any results. There's a percentage of pts allocated for this work, which I'm under no obligation to partake in. You did have one good idea for a change in another thread, Carseller should be offered the job to track results & keep standings, since he has a negative balance.
