This is getting ridiculous Bad beat log

Ive bean getting hammered by the cards as of late so I'm going to keep a log of my hands here and see how things work out over time. Today i played three hands one rase and take with AJ won the blinds then one limper one razed to 3 bb i min razed to 5 from one off the button with 1010 get 4 callers flop is k84 checks to me i bet only button calls turn is 4 off suit two checks river is 9 no flush i check button bets 1/3-1/2 pot so i call i'm thinking he might have busted flush he has 88 o well. next hand blinds go up leaving me with 10bb i have AK and it folds to me so i'm all in bb calls about 1/3 of there stack with K2 i make 2 pair he flushed i'm out. more to continue.

Bad beats and SBR go hand in hand, no doubt. The one piece of advice I would give -- and sorry I know that's not what this thread is about -- is with pocket pairs of JJ and less you need to either raise and make sure you only get one caller, or just limp and hope to hit trips. Now I am strictly talking about SBR Tournaments here, and not your everyday-normal-non bot-rigged- poker.

You mean to tell me that calling raises with k2 for 1/3 stack is actually a bad play?

I wouldn't say it was a great play but the more frustrating part of it was him winning when i had ak. if i had aq it would have all played out the same I would have bean at least a little less annoyed.

did you read my last post? I do play aggressive sometimes but the way the cards have bean breaking in this past moth have bean far off normal variance. Im not pissed at the hands people play, mostly, I'm often happy when the card are flipped but the way the turn and river have bean falling this past month has bean more than a little infurieating. for example i'm happy to get k2 calling me when i'm all in with AK i just expect to win once in a while there.

In the spirit of full disclosure i should record this hand. I had 56s and limped in along with a couple others flop is 2h3c5s so i lead out one call one shove i call other folds heads up vs 62 damn turn is As im outs are growing and i river a 4 for the straight finally hit a hand. i should also mention he got me for a couple hundo a few hands earlier by calling with 7 high but i was bluffing so whatever.

I was done to 17 chips. Then double upped to 34 then triple up to 102 then quadruble to 408 and then with my best hand QQ I lost it all.
It was fun though. Just keep grinding man!

well almost had it done rolled 646/675 until this hand. i had 68 razed to 5 in a 1-2 (i admit i play a bit loose) get two callers flop is 558 so i lead off with 12 get insta razed to 24 must have had the rase any button pushed so i think and shove for about 100 more guy snap calls with 33 awesome right. No. killed on the turn 3. no luck again and i was that close to retiring this thread

I understand the sentiment, and that your joking about folding AA, but i cant do it. If i start folding AA because im worried about suck outs then i can no longer tell myself im playing a skill game and ill end up rubbing a rabbits foot playing penny slots periodically switching seats to the "Hot" machine wile sleeping on the benches of the bus station at the casino and sneaking into the conference rooms to eat there buffets.

ok new record for me. friday i have AA against QQ and lose to a straight. monday i have AA and lose to JJ, again to a straight. tonight i call an all in with AA and lose to KK with a K hitting on the turn. I know it's not money but it really takes the fun out of the game when you're hesitating to play your AA

Well i said i would disclose when i beat people on bad beats so ill include that i beat JJ with 44 yesterday made quads don't remember the specifics but i believe i had JJ guy well covered. Thats 3 consecutive cashes failed to roll the first 2 still working on yesterdays so we will see but needless to say i think that streak is over.

What are the odds of someone hitting one of 3 cards out of 52 that can beat you on the river when only two players are sitting at a table on a huge pot?

I raised to 200 with AK off Caliswag goes all in with a10off I call he gets the ten on the turn. 7 or 8 hand earlier calls an all in with j something and get a jack on the flop and a J on the river. If they have already chosen the people who are going to catch why waste my fuckin time SBR?
