And, Mike, people are competitive...they play poker to win. Weather they are playing a $100 SNG online or at an SBR ring game/tourney, sometimes they are gonna toss around but more often then not they are going to try and win. Sure, at sbr they don't care so much when they lose...it's really just for tossing around. But, at their core, they still want to win. And if a guy like mikejamm spends so much energy writing these threads then you can be sure he cares.

Point is mikejamm, instead of using the resources on the forum to improve his game, blames the software. So we give him shZt about it. It's not a hit on mike when I say Rudy is better. Mike is a fine player. Rudy is just on another level, has probably played many many more hands over time than Mike. Rudy is as self-depricating as they come, but don't get it twisted...he's a hell of a poker player.

Hell, I'm no great poker player myself so I'm sure mikejamm doesn't care what I think anyway. I'm just a guy tossing betpoints around.

Run along now, Mike. You have SBR badges to dream about.
    decent post

now that you mention it, i should've placed my bets in the sbr sportsbook instead of trytrytry last night, would have another badge

i agree with most everything there, the thing that struck a nerve was saying how much "better" one player is than another, plenty of times sbr posters have said stuff like "milwaukee mike you stink at poker" or "i am just better than you".

well, a lot of people don't know but i used to beta-test bodog's software and i've played more online and live poker than almost anyone over the last 20 years. does that make me better than someone else? who knows, unless we play a million games against each other, and that's never gonna happen.

For me to have any chance to be successful, I have to be. Ego kills in gambling. Other people might work differently and need the confidence boost, I prefer a different angle.

I already gave the example of the hail mary pass, you don't say nice play if it is completed.

If a team drives 80 yards in 3 minutes and they're at the 10 yd line with 3 timeouts, only down by 1, and 1 minute left on the clock, you don't start shaking hands saying good game, nice win.

It's funny people read my posts with a certain tone, maybe it is my fault. Those are my feelings on etiquette. You might have a different view and that is fine, but atleast have a logical reason.

To be clear, when I said Mike referring to poker play I was talking about mikejamm not you. I have no opinion on your poker game. Haven't played with you much.

by all means, nobody should say gh or nh before the hand is over. and it's hard to judge someone's tone from a post on the internet, a lot of times we're just joking around (why someone would take sbrforum seriously is beyond me).

a hail mary pass or your other analogies just don't fit, for them to complete it your team has to fail on defense (or have the officials from the packers/seahawks game!). for someone to hit a 2-outer on the river all they need is luck.

I feel people say "nh" before the hand is over as a form of superstition or self consoling. As if them conceding the hand will reverse the odds and prepare them mentally for the impending loss.

as a side note, we could also make the argument that i shouldn't say "gl all" before the game. because if they have good luck, it could easily be at my expense...

but i'm gonna keep doing it anyway

Just like Mark Richt. Your special teams could use some work though. Maybe you need a special teams coach like Mark has...oh wait...

Oh my beloved bulldogs. Still love the fact the stadium erupts when the guy makes an extra point. Yes an extra point.

To be clear taddy, you're an asshole, a big fuk'in hairy mouth asshole! You assume you know shit about the poker players here by playing on software that I know for a fact has a pre determined outcome. Call it rigged or what ever the fuk you want, but you're a fuk'in idiot if you haven't figured it out.

And wow man, can you plant your lips any more precisely on rudy's ass! Also, I could give shit about the badges here homo, the two that I actually do care about are the charity ones, which I notice you don't fuk'in have. So that pretty muck explains to me on psychological level, that you're a greedy, badge loving sbr ass kissing fuk who probably has never done a charitable thing in his life and you blow smoke up the ass of people like rudy, in hopes he may give you break at the tables, since according to you, the fuk'in sbr online poker expert, is so 10X the player everyone else is! Wake up from your fuk'in sbr wet dream douche bag, there's more to life than this place.

Fuk yeah DS! They need to bring that badge back pronto! That, I must say was one of the cooler ones on here! Maybe they could rename it to the Muff badge for pick WNBA or women's tennis winners!
