I like this one best. Much simpler to use and you can see exactly how big a favorite you are.

Take for example this hand where that mega fish stevenash decided to call my all in flop bet with top pair shitty kicker against my set of 888 at Level 1 and some how the rigged SBR software produced a turn that was an Ace and river that was an Ace.

I use Poker Stove for hand histories. Still have Poker tracker but the only network where I'm signed up at where can use it is winning network or whatever it is called now and I can hardly stand it. There's some spread sheets out there you can use for bankroll management. Card runners runs some deals sometimes and there's still some good poker training videos floating out there.

A buddy of mine and his friend bought a "poker bot" a few years back, knowing very little about poker. They figured ok, we'll set this up, load 1k on it, and when we come back we will be rich. They dont bother to tweak the programming or anything just out of the box stick it in there. They start the bot up and go do something, then return and their 1k is gone. Their bot was folding top set, top two etc while playing every hand. So much for the get rich quick insta poker bot hahaha

Decisions are pretty much decided for you.

    AA shove, lose.
    KK shove, lose.
    QQ shove, lose.
    JJ shove, lose.
    Ak shove, lose.

    Repeat.

    I lose 33 of 35 coin flips.

    Calculate the odds of that.

The poker bots are actually quite a problem. Average bots have improved quite a bit from when your friend bought his. It's not that they are too sophisticated to be exploited but the average recreational player will never realize they are playing against one. They take money out of everyones pocket for the worst. It's a huge problem on ipoker because they get coupled with under the table rakeback deals (60%+) and are run mostly at the micros. It kills the games even at mid lvls too because you don't have as many shot takers either feeding the pool.

The current state of games really sucks. Rake is atrocious unless you're playing mid stakes and at some the of the smaller sportsbook linked poker networks collusion is tolerated because they keep the games going + they save on prop time. I've played a lot of poker online and am hesitant playing anything higher than 100NL now and even then that is game selected. I really hope legislation comes through to clean things up and they don't do anything too retarded.

    @OP

Most people now at a minimum have either Pokertracker or Hold'em Manager. The periphery software players use are AHK scripts * flopzilla/pokerstove/PS equilab* training site subscriptions (cardrunners, dragthebar, bluefire, deucesc racked, leggo) * some sort of table selector + more probably. I listed them for the sake of completion so if you're new just look into them as you go. That's mostly for cash games but I'm not really familiar with tournament software. I think there's sit'n'go wizard and some push calculators floating around on sites like pokerstrategy. You also have places like tournamentpokerankings & tableratings to scope people out if you're into that sort of thing for humour and/or profit

I have one bot I can sell you at a reasonable price. The XTYZ77 is capable of beating most SBR ring games (notice Beerdog is winning more points lately? ). Now this bot cannot chat for you, that is a more expensive model, but if you sit in during the ring games and chat yourself, then no one will know the difference.

    Contact me if interested.

Are you talking for SBR poker or another site.

ANother thing I would do if I was you was print off a hand history of x number of hands for yourself and look it over. You'll be surprised at how many of your own weaknesses you see when your not at the table.
