Do you let the size of your stack influence your play
Let's say you are big stacked, you are UTG+1, you are dealt a marginal hand you usually muck, say A 7 off.
The table is relatively tight.
If you are mid stacked, usually you muck that A 7 from UTG+1, my question is, since you are large stacked, do you see a flop at a fair price?
In tourney play no, especially when you get to later stages of tourney I am never limping, calling a pot to see a flop. I am either raising or folding.
If you are in a position where it is closing in on cash time and people are playing ultra tight then raise the hand and take over by bullrushing everyone.
Otherwise fold and wait for better spots. A7 is fairly useless.
I agree with DS. Limping in at the end of a tournament can get you in a lot of trouble, especially with the SBR tournaments/blinds structure. If you do raise with A7 in an SBR tourney, you almost have to call automatically because of pot odds, and might be dominated.

Yes, but not in the situation you describe. A7o is too poor and your position is too bad to make this worthwhile. However, there are times you can play more loosely with a big stack.
First, you need to look at the "effective stack" and not just at your own. If you're 200 BBs deep and everyone else has 50 BBs then your stack size shouldn't influence your play because the most you're ever playing for is the 50 BB effective stack.
If the effective stacks are large, you still have to make sure your deep stacked opponent will pay you off. If you get the sense that your opponent will, then you should be willing to play a little more loosely and do things like call with guthsots in position h/u on the flop. It's now worthwhile to do that because if you hit your draw the payoff is huge.
Position more important than stack size! (to a certain extent)
if u mean sbr poker, u can't even hardly raise without being committed unless your top 5 in chips, just a fact is all

not sure about that.it also depends on how well u know your opponents and the way they play.most of the time 75%of the players have played against each other on the regular so it does make your opponent style a reason to adjust your play
A7 is a monster hand with 7 minute blinds, you can't just wait for Kk because you won't get them
Of course it will have an effect on how you play. And though you have to maintain composure among hands, you can very well afford to make the few extra calls that you are not entitled to with a short stack.
It has been always about how big your stack is, with the ones with more money having the option to bully around those lying on the obvious proverbial short stack.
a7 on sbr poker is like aa playing live so yes you play it because the guy next you has king king and 7,7,3 is coming
No, you will get KK and lose to A7.

And TC you should be raising that hand late in a tourney under those circumstances. You have a ton of fold equity and you'll have odds to call short stacks after you raise anyway.
