    Tourney Players with 30 or more cashes...

    Hopefully SBR will not mind me doing this (I did create a separate/non-official thread...)

    Below is a snapshot from the Top 250 cashes list that Lou posted earlier today.

    This is a list of people who have 30 or more cashes and then sorted by pts/cash. In essense this shows the people who are getting deeper in the tourneys and not just min-cashing.

    This people on this list does not surprise me. The top part of this list, in my opinion, should be considered the top contenders in any SBR tourney.

    I hope nobody takes insult from this, it is not my intention to point out anything other than trying to show a view of the seemingly most "effective" cashers here.

    im like the guy who does everything but win ,got all other places but still hasnt won any just yet but have gotten real close,,,feel the the bills back in the day,, get to super bowl but cant finish but hell as long as i cash its all good

    still haveny won 1st. ive been robbed of 2 wins since i started playing a month ago...most recently a ridiculous 16 to 1 chip stack lead lost.

    this is a flawed list..some people didn't join the site until the middle of the year..there were a few tournies early in the year that paid an obscene amount of points that totally skew how "good" a player actually is..these factors, among others need to be taken into account

    seems like no matter what sbr comes up with,people are going to complain about this or that,cmon guys they are trying to find ways to make it fun,give them a break ,at least this time they gave u fair warning about the next one unlike the last one that they sprung up on us,,,peavy ur a good player and sure u will qualify but complaining about every thing isnt the way to go

    Yes, I will qualify and thanks for the kind words. I'm not complaining, simply pointing out the facts. Not sure how you say I'm complaining "about everything"...the points I bring up are vaild..the tournies at the beginning of the year where some players won 5000+ betpoints will obviously skew the average cash list that beerdog posted..any monkey can get lucky and win a tournament, consistency is another thing all together

    well look at my cashes apposed to my dollars.i have one of the worst ratings but it just proves im out there grinding it out everyday ,just trying to cash as many as i can and see what happens

    It would be interesting to see a list that was evenly weighted, kind of like the contest Downsouth was running a few months back. First place got 10 points, 2nd got 9, 3rd got 8.... 10th got 1 point and see who the most effective cashers are.

    A better list would be to include how many tourneys the guys played in , not everyone plays 6 or 7 times a week .

    I can only report on the data I have, but the intent of my list was to remove(lessen) the luck factor (i.e. people with 30 or more cashes). I would be surprised if anybody that is rational and unbiased would not admit that would cut out most of the luck factor.

    This is, in my opinion, a clear indication of both consistency and effectiveness.

    That all said, in the mostly turbo-style tourney's that SBR hosts, there is significant luck but anybody cashing more than 30 times, is showing more than just luck.

    I personally think that the top part of this bears out of what most people on SBR think, they are good players. They may not be the best tourney players, but they certainly are good as compared to any SBR player that is playing regularly here (e.g. Daneblazer would definately be on the top list if he played regularly).

    I agree but I think showing points/cash gets us close to this as it provides an average. Not perfect but it is the best representation of this given the data I have!

    ive only played like 7 tourneys last 2 weeks and made 5 final tables. Whoever plays everyday has a clear advantage. Like i and others that can't play tommorrow vs one's that can. Advantage, ones that can

    I think SBR should pay Beerdog to be in charge of the poker info. He's always on top of it and seems to be quicker to the punch.
