woohoo, won the 5 PM. Strange that I can't make a final table and then when I finally make one, I win.

bad luck has returned. Playing at the ring tables, trying to roll over points. Haven't won a single hand in about 10-15 minutes.

Had pocket 10s vs. AK, big hand. JQ9 flop. So straight draw + pair. Something else on turn, still in position to win...

    ace on river.

donkeys night out, as Cuse hoves pre-flop, post-flop, post-turn, and post-river with K5 off, no hand at all. I had A10 suited. Had a shot at flush and straight. When neither hit on the river, I folded to his all-in, only to see I had it won.

34th today. Didn't have a good setup. Was trying to multitask on the computer I was playing poker with. Had KQ, accidentally re-raised a big raise. Just hit raise before time ran out.

That lost me like 500 (from 2600 to 2100). Then I had A10 (a of clubs), flop was three clubs, garydn goes all in on me and I called. He had KK (one of clubs). Club didn't come on turn or river.

Left with with under 400 and I bluffed in last position, but bb called me. A5 beat 910. Oh well.

    36th.

Called an all-in bluff by sensei, but Deluxe then pushes all in after me. Half my stack was in already, so I called. Had JQ, Deluxe had JJ.

    sensei had A4

Finished rolling over the points from my win.

Played heads up vs. Thad (after some against other people, who left), which got me from like 700 to 1769.

Finished the remaining 31 just now. Actually profited. Turned the 600 into 1,179!

    16th. Brutal luck today.

Had AK, raised. Two other people in the hand on the flop. Flop was K and two single digit cards.

herbie shoves and puts me all in. Have to call. Also another guy all in. Turns out me and the other guy had AK, and herbie had hit pocket rockets for the second hand in a row.

Pair of aces beat pair of kings.

People were holding all four aces.

Finished 1/10 in gear tourney due to crazy luck. I actually tried to finish third, but kept catching cards on the river.

Wish I'd get that luck in a points tournament.

I planned to play in 1 PM today, because last Friday the 1 PM was pretty empty, but it filled up today. Unpredictable.

    27th in 8 PM.

Had over 1500 chips. herbie went all in on me pre-flop. Had to call, with QQ. He had KK. Cards on the table wound up being a bunch of low cards.

Hate when that happens. Have no choice but to call there.

terribly frustrating trying to figure out the right tournament to play in.

Every day I have recorded, the 10 PM filled up completely. So I figured I may as well play at 8 since both will be full.

44th in 10 PM, which the day after only have 30 players, filled up entirely.

Had JJ on the first hand. Big raised. pavyracer called. Flop came low cards. He went all in. I called. Turns out he had 88 and caught an 8.

Normally it isn't that bad, but think about the situation.

After his raise, there were two re-raises, including one by me (which should have been a pretty good hint).

Anyone should realize that at least one of those hands would be better than 10/10, and not go all-in over the top of superior hand(s).

    Awful poker move.

yep, it sucks. I've had every kind of bad luck in sbr poker in august and september.

Only missed two weekday points tournaments (couldn't play saturday/sunday ones) and all I have to show for it one 5th and one 1st.

    4th in the 5 PM.

Got drained by blinds, as Ian kept going all in every hand (or nearly so).

Didn't have a decent hand to call with.

One time had QQ, and I raised pre-flop to 4K, but I was called by two people. Flop buried my hand and I had to fold. One guy caught a king and the other guy (ian I think) got him with a lucky flush.

UTG puts in a raise, you 3 bet him signifying strength and were min 4 bet by the player directly to your left. UTG shoves putting you in a bad spot. You're squeezed between a UTG raiser who isn't afraid of the action behind him and someone who min 4 bet which usually indicates he wants action (He later folds which is the worst line out of the whole hand). Tens is pretty weak there, but I think usually you are going to look at KK or AA by one of these villains. Unless you have a strong read that both of these guys are loose cannons, it's too early in the tournament to be flipping coins. If both of these guy's ranges are TT+ and AK (which is generous but given what we know we can run this) you are about a 33% dog to win the hand in a 3 way pot. I don't hate the call but I think it's too early to be flipping coins unless you have a history and a good read on the two players you're sandwiched between.

Guy was a donk and I figured he was shoving with an inferior hand.

Folding would've been a poor move.

Guy hits his ace on the turn after the chips go in and I'm like ok fine, my trips still beat his two pair.

Then he hits again on the river.

Ugh, bad luck in the 10 PM.

Bubbled with a 10th place finish. Lasted a while at the final table but no one got bounced.

Some dude went all in on me pre-flop with K6, and I called with A10.

Lost when guy caught a 6 on the flop.

That left me screwed, especially after I was in a hand and eberetta kept shoving on me. Had to fold. Left in a position with me and two others at about the same chips, but with blinds hitting me first. Stupid 300/600 blinds

just had a 4x pre-flop raise called by sensei, who had 36 off.

I had AK. 3 came on flop.

I bet half pot and he called again with a pair of 3s.

Talk about sucked out. He won 945.

Finished 20th. Got jammed up against the blinds and had to call with K8 in a hand I didn't want to play (guy went all in with 1,560, and azn was all in for his blind, with under 200).

DSI freeroll, big bets pre-flop, stay in with 99.

Flop comes three undercards. Guy goes all in on me (5k+), I call (3k+). He has 44. No straight draw, no flush draw, just 44.

Pops a 4 on the turn.
