    major disconnect issues today again.

    I managed to make final table. With the DC issues, I was folding until the bb hit me, leaving me with 138 left to call a raise, which I did. Lost to downsouth, who's looking good here.

    Played at the same table with DS the whole tourney. He had been catching the cards all day so I wasn't surprised. He played great today and like he said earlier at the table "It's always better to be lucky than good." Today he was both!

    I definitely have a bad feeling about this month. I was doing OK in the 10pm until I got 68s in the BB. Flop comes 57Q with 2 of my suit. Thus, I am slight favorite over a pair, 50/50 against 2 pair, and slight dog to trips. I bet out and am min raised. Blank turn and I have to call off a decent number. Blank river, he allins, and I fold. He claims to have had trips. Regardless, a costly hand, but I'm not out yet.

    I stick around for a while and finally get AA. I raised and the SB allins. Of course I call. He has AQo, meaning I am about a 93-7 favorite. Only possible way I could be a bigger favorite is against A-mid (94-6). J10 flop and I know I'm in trouble. Q turn, K river, so at least I split, but extremely disappointing given the situation. After a couple more rotations and a blind increase I'm down to three BBs and take a shit with A5s in late position. One guy calls and flips KK and for once the A doesn't come. Had I won the AA hand, I wouldn't have played the A5 hand at all.

    I busted 16th, so most likely I would have made top 10 if I had just won when I had a 93% chance to do so. Things are not off to a good start at all for me.

    disconnects again all tournament. Got one at the worst possible time. Several thousand in the pot, I have AK (ace flopped), was against Glitch who was chasing a flush that wasn't coming. DC and I get screwed out of a hand I had won. It should really check by default, but instead it folds.

    Even with the DCs, I can often make final table, but pretty tough to win this way.


    11th. Drained by blinds until I was small blind and only 117 left, so I had to call with 59. BB had 55.

    Ireland you lucky sob .. And NCSU only got in because I made a bad play. It was a bad play, but it was reasonable because the guy shoves with anything even a miss so his range is to open to not call on a harmless flop with AK. He called a raise & my big reraise holding A-10. 10 hits on the flop so he was right post flop as they the turn brought trip 10s. But really he had no business in the hand with a-10o.

    Never hooked up with you today bored, I had lousy start at first,
    was down to less than 1K, then held back ( took a lot of patience )
    waited & waited until I doubled up a couple of times, then the cards
    got pretty good, from there on it seemed I was on cruise control,
    was one of the lower stacks hitting the final table, but again the cards
    kept coming ( got lucky a couple of times ) from there it was flying all
    the way home

    Yeah Ncsu we did have a pretty loose table. But I play pretty tight so I figured my Reraise should shown some strength. Oh well what's done is done. And yes Thadd for this contest you better pick it up man. I sadly have to place first pretty much everyday for the rest of the month just to be considered for what I really want, to play in the ryders cup. I think it's BS how they choose & really robbed some good players.

    Most frustrating tournament EVER. I hit rip on first hand and went into nice lead. A little while later, I get QQ and bust 3 people allin. Now have 8k+ to 3k second place. Cruise to the final table, never dropping lower than 2nd all game. Have 18k to 13k second place. One guy is pusing allin every third hand and I have AK so I call. He has 44 and flops a 4. A little while later, I have AK again and raise big. Donkey allins 22 and I don't improve. I wait patiently forever for another hand. No one is busting (3 gone in 35 minutes, vs. normal final table taking about 30 to get to 2 left). Finally get another decent hand (AQ), show and am called by 44. 4 hits again. I finish 7th.

    Based on the last 3 days, I have no shot to money here and probably no shot to make the Ryder team either.
