    Doyles room, dsi, bookmaker are no longer paying affiliates

    Doyles Room and the rest of the network including Bet DSI and Bookmaker are deciding to become douche bags in the time where they need sites like Rounder’s Radio the most. There is a new dawn in the online poker world and many sites are looking to cash in on the US traffic but sites in the Yatahay network are just ******* over their partners. We have supported Bet DSI and Bookmaker in the past but they just gave us and other affiliates the finger by letting us know that they just decided, without any discussion with us, to stop paying us for players that we have referred to them.

    We have certainly not sent them a tremendous amount of traffic because their site was pretty shitty to say the least but now we have been given the red light for no other reason than GREED! They claim that it is because the new software cost so much they cannot pay us the commissions that we EARNED! Ummm, hey dumb asses, the other sites all built nice software too but still seem to hold up their agreements and haven’t cheated their partners!!!


    Doyles room has not stated, so far, that they are not paying affiliates but they are in the same network as these other crooks such as Bet DSI and Bookmaker so I am not confident in this network by any means. Guilt by association! Doyle Brunson has pulled out of his agreement with doyles room to be the spokes person with the site if that says anything about the direction of this company.


    Bottom line, I don’t ever really post any articles about dirt bag companies. So when I do, you know it is serious. This has really pissed me off and I think it needs to be said, if they won’t pay PARTNERS, which only get paid when the companies make money, how safe do you think your money is there?


    Bet DSI said “Offering poker has always been an add-on with hopes of keeping our sports players who also enjoy a bit of poker at BetDSI.com, therefore we have added the sportsbook directly into the poker clients, and will be offering our poker players notifications of upcoming games, halftimes, etc.” They don't even know how to spell commissions correctly in the email, hire someone that can use spell check!


    Well, if they didn’t take poker seriously and it was just an “add on”, why did they hold an Online Forum Challenge event and have hundreds of POKER SITES promote them? Oh, I get it, so they could get that traffic and then tell those poker sites to **** off!


    I, just like the rest of the poker world, are tired of dealing with these shady bullshit operations that think they can just screw over anyone they can to make or save a buck. I suggest not playing at these sites (Bet DSI and Bookmaker) as they are now blacklisted here at Rounder’s Radio for being the scum of the earth. doyles room is still to be determined as we see how this plays out but they are certainly keeping some bad company.

    wow, this sucks.

    already thin options for US players are getting even thinner.

    this whole internet poker thing is leaving me pissed off and sour.

    Stiffing their affiliates? This is bad. Back when True Poker ran the Yatahay network they had excellent CS and great rakeback deals. I'm not sure which book bought out the network (I think it's DSI/Bookmaker but I'm not sure) but the site has been terrible ever since they took over. Their neglect of the poker side of their business reflects horribly on the rest of their business.

    For non-US, pokerstars is still a viable alternative. After the US players left the action has definately slowed and changed but it is still good to play there.

    the 0.10/0.25 (max $25 buyin) has been pretty good to me lately. I am still scratching to get by but I am maintaining and having some success.

    It is too hard to win on the site now because everyone is playing bad beat, BB rake is sick on low limits high limits hard enough a it is. Unreal it will just get worse because the jackpot is not even high yet.

    Yeah, all four of my pokersites disappeared when I downloaded the new software, I had to go back and add the other three back when the new software was finished. Fortunately, I kept records that show my sign in names and what network they belong to , else I wouldn't have known which icons needed reloading.

    Was funny, I shut it down during the initial software download, because I thought I downloaded a virus since all I saw was my icons disappearing on my desktop. Didn't know if Word, Powerpoint, My Computer were next to disappear. Bookmaker, DSI, Doyleroom and TruePoker were the four icons. Black Friday all over again as I was scheduled to play in a $1000 tourney with 40 players and the new software made it a mute point. It would be nice if Doyles gave everyone their money and said they are done. Might be the only way to get a cashout from some of these remaining sites.

    I am getting paranoid about depositing monies to any site. Made a password request to one poker site and think they would answer the password request? So I am left wondering if they would just ignore a withdrawal request the same way. I know I played a little bit more at SBR that first Black Friday, because so far they have built up my trust in a big way.

    It would be terrible if Doyle unwittingly sold his name, and had no control of its use any longer. Could be a lawyer's issue to deal with.

    It is also getting pretty sick when some of my pokersites are on their third and fourth moves.

    Pokerrooms are getting cheap, depositing/withdraws are becoming harder and the overall experience is just getting sh*tty. Can't wait for the two casinos that opened within 30min of my house to start poker tables.

    I'm not 100% sure on this but I think only the SHORTCUTS disappeared, not the actual software itself. If you were to look in the actual folder where the software is installed, it would still be there, at least if you had already installed the new version.

    I believe he HAS asked them to stop using his likeness, but I got the impression it had more to do with sanitizing his image in advance of any poker legalization laws in the USA.
