How could anyone say that you can't find an edge in some of these spring games???

Lines are all from -125/+125 for the most part...

No way these are "true" lines...

If you find the right info, you surely can find an edge...

    Thoughts?

For me, the starting line ups will easily identify where the value is at. There is no favor for the home team for spring ball, IMO.

The starting lineups and starting and relievers rotations are all released what more can you ask for if i had a reliever rotation during season i would probably play more reg season bases. spring bases have been good to me. They even tell you pitcher A will throw 90 pitches.

Noway I let my money ride on players who wear numbers in the mid 60-70's. Preseason is nothing but a crapshoot.

There isn't better value in any other sport at any other time. All I can do is laugh when I continuously read things like a few of the comments I've read in this thread.

I tried to back up my words above and I offered to make a points bet with anyone that I would finish at plus money. Nobody took it. But yet day after day I read that there is no value and it's a coin flip.

Oh well, these people that don't give it a chance are missing out on a good thing. Their loss.

if you think you should "NEVER" bet on -140 stuff that should be -400 then you shouldn't be gambling

Wow... Some of the best value is on preseason baseball and football, yet these guys say "you should never bet preseason baseball". WTF?? Why not?? If i'm getting value, and I know who is playing and who is pitching and who is due to get some time off, it's a no brainer. Certain veteran pitchers work on new pitches, stay away from some of them, some stud rookie are trying to prove themselves, if u know how good these young prospects are it's definitely a no brainer. I hammered the Rays today, as well as the Angels, easiest 500 bucks I've ever made. Last football preseason I went 8-2, I'm very concerned this year, that their will be no preseason.... Preseason is where you seperate the contenders and pretenders of gambling... Last year in preseason baseball I went 7-2. I'm not saying take a game even EVERY DAY, but there are some games with unbelievable value.....

thank you. i like a good laugh every now and then. thats how the big ballers in vegas do it. load up on the preseason. where a 4th string division 3 qb is deciding the game.passing to a receiver he has known for 2 weeks and a running back who is hoping to be able to just tackle on special teams lol.

there are plenty of ways to get inside info. I remember a few years back, you could go to early spring training games and sit in the bleachers with scouts and I even had a few long conversations with Pirate's old fuk-up gm David Littlefield.

some of the best info besides starting lineups and the 5-6 guys slated to pitch... is how long/pitch counts the pitchers will be on and what certain pitchers will be working on.

I remember Littlefield telling me that he had like 4 guys that were on "fastball only" programs, just working on placement. or a guy might be throwing 60% changeups, working on a new grip. ect.

if you get that kinda info it can be valuable. the problem is its not really worth it with the limits

Easy imo. Destroying it so far this year.
Just bet visitor teams that are superior to home teams in skill level and standings.
Basic formula. Starting pitchers are gone by 5th inning so not much to analyze there.
    I concentrate more on bullpin.

Today's picks. Atl, White sox, tex, sf all to win

There was a major edge with the Oakland A's yesterday at +110. If you checked the lineups, you'd notice the A's were utilizing a DH, while the Reds were not. If this isn't a major advantage at plus money, I dont know what is. Mark Sweeney (the A's DH) went on to have a productive day in a 10-8 Oakland win over Cincy!
