Celtics +5, +175 ML is a gift
Boston will go into Chicago and give them the toughest test they have faced in the past month. No doubt that this will be a close game but I expect Boston to pack in the paint tonight and force the Bulls to take some jump shots. Boston is ready for this game and giving them +5 in a game like this is flat out dumb. Chicago is the most overrated team in the NBA and Rose is not gonna continue to bail them out.

Bulls are the real deal, unbiased analysis should lead the objective observer to that fact.
I concur about the bulls being on the hype train. They will end up like the magic did the last few seasons. 7 game series against the best teams in the NBA will expose a lot of coaching weaknesses and match up problems. The Celtics have the edge tonight for that very same reason. Bulls MIGHT get out of the 2nd round, but they won't win the east!

And what exactly is wrong about getting 5 here. Boston were +6 to Miami earlier in the year, and that was an in form Celtic team. They are not now, and the Bulls sure as hell are. If they were even teams you put it at -3 right. The Bulls are 15-2 home vs 500+ teams, better make that 3.5. Is current form enough for another .5 points? I think so. That puts the line at -4 which is what Pinny opened with, others had it at -4.5. I see nothing wrong with it.
They aren't? Played pretty well in their last four games. Dominant win at SA, played pretty well but ran out of gas the next night at ATL, then beat Detroit by 11 and pounded Philly.
SA in a dreadful rut, Det blows and Philly was at home. Not that impressive. And they had lost 3 of their prior 4 games. That's 4-4 in their last 8. 11-8 in March/April. You can put lipstick on a pig, but the pig is still just 13-9 since the Perkins trade.
public was 3/2 in favor of the bulls when the line opened at 4, but judging from the LM I'd say the bulls are a big public play tonight. These late season games are hard to predict because it is impossible to tell where the teams motivation is this late in the season. Lines makers move lines to entice money on each side. This is a fair line when you consider the derrick rose/bulls media hype and MVP discussions. A lot of people tune in to ESPN and drink to cool aid, then proceed to bet on it.
I dont think so. Beating up on Detroit is not convincing to me. SA win was nice but SA was in bad form them selves with a bunch of guys coming back for the 1st game. Atl loss was ugly, Celtics looked weak. Didn't see the Philly game but Philly also a team not in form now. Plus this is just 4 games. I look at more games to determine current form. 7-10 is the number i like.
