Kentucky and Wisconsin can make a run. Louisville and Texas are both flawed. Big East always get's more love than warranted. All those teams get in every year but how many Big East teams win a title? That conference has won like 3 titles in the last 25 years while the ACC and SEC did the same in less than 10 years. That conference has like 50 teams and at least 10 teams get in every year 1/6 of the field, yet every year they come up short and don't win.

The SEC is king of football for a reason... They win titles. How can the Big East be called the kings of basketball when they can't cut the net's every year??

You guys act like this is the 1st year that seeds between 2-4 seem kind of equal if you compare & contrast. After the #1 line, 2-4 are usually very interchangeable. And I think we should now by now with the NBA early entry defects every year ... almost every "top" team is still going to have flaws. We're not going to see many times where there's going to be one "super" team during the year that is good at everything.

Texas is so overated it's not even funny. SDSU is a decent team. Duke's bracket itself is a joke. THey can pretty much cake walk to the final four. I expect Syracuse, Louisville or Kansas State to make a deep run into this tournament with one of those three teams reaching the final four.

I hate this argument. A conference = all teams not one or two teams. Sure the ACC and SEC can win the big dance but how many quality teams are in those conferences? A handful. They play these shitty teams all year and don't have the battles the Big East teams have. The Big East has only 4 more teams than the ACC. For fun, we'll eliminate the last 4 teams in the Big east and we'll take the #9 team (regular season) oh that's Uconn. If we put Uconn vs ACC's #5 team Boston College.. I would lay at least 5 points on Uconn.

Overall the Big East is the BEST conference as in it has a ton of very good teams. Does it have the best team? No. That isn't the argument. ACC has 2 great teams, once of which wins a ton of championships. Do 2 team make a conference better than a conference full of very good teams? That's what you need to think about.

** Please note that the Big East recently expanded to that amount of teams. So when you say the past 25 years know which teams you're arguing about. I'll give you a quick history lesson.

1979: Providence, St. John's, Georgetown, and Syracuse invited Seton Hall, Rutgers, Connecticut, Holy Cross, and Boston College
Rutgers and Holy Cross didn't join, by 1982 Nova and Pitt joined.
1991 Miami, Temple, Va Tech, WVU and Rutgers joined (Non-bball for WVU and Rutgers until 95 and Va Tech was non bball until 95)
1995 - Notre Dame joins
2003 - Lose Va Tech, Miami and BC.
2003 - Gain L-Ville, Cincy, USF, Marquette and DePaul.

So you're argument about the Big East having all these teams and not winning a championship in the past 25 years.. should go back 8 years. Before that they had the same amount of teams as any other conference. Enough about the past though, why not argue about this year? I actually like Duke, but think OSU will win it.. don't really see any Big East team winning to be honest. ND can get extremely hot, Pitt may make a final 4.. Syracuse could make the elite 8 but they'd have to beat UNC AND OSU to make the final 4 (if neither get knocked off). Will be a tough road for all Big East teams really (besides Pitt). It should be a fun tourney though

You guys and the board are way to focused on Wisconsin's last game. They are a solid team and they advance further than expected every year in the tourney. They play a slower offense where they value every possession. The fact that they don't run back and forth, up and down the court every possession throws off a lot of teams. Don't sleep on them and keep their whole season in perspective, not just one game.
