    Streak for the Cash dogs

    There is usually something a little fishy about streak for the cash games selected by ESPN when the spread of a game is 4.5 or more or if the moneyline is -200 or more for games that don't have spreads. It seems that the dogs of those games usually pull it off so I am going to document these games. I was only going to document the home dogs (since I usually stay away from away teams) at first, but by request, I will make a separate section for away (and neutral site) teams as well.

    The lines will come from Bookmaker

    Tonight New Orleans Hornets were at home against Dallas as 5-point dogs and won straight up but we will not count that game. This starts tomorrow, 3/10/11

    No plays - awaiting lines for pitt/uconn, SJU/syracuse, San Jose St/Idaho, New Mexico St/Nevada, Cincy/ND

    Huge cash today for me on UConn.

    Yes, I played it because of SftC.

    I split my bets about evenly between spread and ML, in these situations. Same today.

    This system is being changed to what I was originally going to do with spreads of 4 or more and moneylines of -190 or higher.

    Denver +4 would've fallen into this category so I am going to document it. (no, I didn't wager on it so don't heckle me for this) This system is just for documentation purposes for right now. I am not wagering on all these games.

    I've been using this angle for a while and it has been fairly profitable, though I couldnt give you exact numbers. The Streak Masters are pretty sharp and have a very good eye for selecting games that sucker in a ton of people by offering a Pick'em on a team that is actually favored by -3, -4, etc. I'll go the other way and bet ML on any team that is +3 or higher but offered as a pick'em on SFTC. I'd venture to say those ML dogs are hitting 50-55%. When you're getting anywhere from +140 to +180 on those plays and hitting over 50% it's been a very good angle.

    Yeh. these games always have caught my eye and I play a bunch of them. I'm actually keeping track of the moneylines on my spreadsheet as well to see how they turn out too. both teams have won straight up at +220 and +160.

    I thought I should finally get some documented data on these sftc dogs

    Let's get these bookies with the help of the ESPN SFTC sharps

    I've experimented with this recently too, I like it... You are correct that the Streak Masters have a great eye for putting trap games out there to ruin people's streaks... Those games usually end up very competitive and often the dogs will pull it out

    yep, i saw that game. just waitin to post til tomorrow. Line will most likely move to at least 5 or 5.5... I'm kinda shocked the line is even that low. GS is 3-7 in their last 10 and have lost by an average of about 15 lately against Orlando.

    :| No one reads the streak thread. I've been advocating this for months.

    Too lazy to document it, but I'm positive that betting the big ML underdogs is profitable.

    Sorry boys, it was 3.5 when I last checked at Bookmaker and I couldn't get to a computer to post this game in time.

    For 3/11/11

    We have Boston College +4.5 against Clemson

    Golden State Warriors +5 against Orlando at home

    Cal State Northridge +4.5 against UC Santa Barbara

    And keeping an eye on Boise St game as the line is 3.5 right now and will move by the end of the day.

    A god-awful performance by CS Northridge shooting 28% missing layup after layup and they lost by 20.
