    So much stupid in this thread. Guess what? It doesn't matter if YOU consider it cheating, it matters if the book considers it cheating. Do this once and they'll probably just cancel it, keep doing it and they will boot you. It's that simple.

    I took an over in a baseball game overnight at 9 when it was 9.5 everywhere else and they cancelled my bet, needless to say they were pretty cool about it and graded the over 9 after i cleared it up on SBR

    A .5 difference on a baseball total is not a "bad line" by any stretch. Any book cancelling that wager after the game is just straight trying to rob you. That's why they were so "cool" about it when you got sbr involved.

    5D doesnt have live in game for soccer only full game 1st and 2nd Hs. And this line was probably right. What if score was say nil nil at half. o2.5 would dictate 3 goals in 45 minuts of play in the 2nd. +239 not a BAD line actualy fair line...

    This thread is the reason why online bookmakers are fair by not accepting bets on pricing errors where Las Vegas accepts them!!!

    If a casino made a pricing error it would take several hours for word to spread and players to make their way to that casino allowing the casino fair opportunity to catch the error.

    Online some clown runs to a chat forum and informs hundreds of players about the error causing the online book to get flooded with hundreds of bets for max wager amounts within 10 minutes.

    Mistakes happen and I do not see any book staying in business for long if every little typing error they make, replacing a "-"with a "+", could cost them $10,000 or more.

    Would it be a viable solution for the book to pay you for the correct line? "Dear player, the line was supposed to be -250, not +250, obvious error. We paid you for -250." It's true the book shouldn't pay the bad line, but it's a real crime to give the player nothing but a refund b/c that absolutely means the book gets rewarded (a free shot at you) for posting a bad line.

    Also: Not all players who bet the line are guilty of shot taking. Plenty of casual non-degen/obsessed players out there who don't even know much about anything and are just playing for fun.

    It's been my experience that if you catch a bad line, just tell the book, more times than not they'll throw you a little something your way, like a free 50 dollar bet or something.

    Take it, a freebie with a rollover is so much better than trying to be cute and cashing in on an honest mistake you have no chance in hell collecting on.

    all i know is tony is a dick, i bet euro hoops game that was in the 4th q not knowing it was cuz i was following pinny and thier line was moving like crazy..so i put 30 bux on it not sure what was up..turns out my team was up 20 ans almost lost the cover..you shoulda heard that fuk tony.i asked him what do i need to ck to see if every game has started before i bet it..good thing i had money over there or i would told that fuk a thing or two

    The way i look at it is, if a book puts out a bad line, then they are at fault. Why should the player be at fault, was he the one paid to post the lines or adjust them? If it is offered and someone takes it , then the book should have it canceled before 10 mins pass in the 2nd, other wise it should stand. when a game is over the book should not look to see if the bet won or lost and decide what to do, that is theft and bullshit in my opinion.

    wrong, i dont play with offshore books for just so reasons, i play by my rules. its bullshit for a book to wait until the end of a game to rule a bet void, but if it were to lose they would still want the money even if it was a bad line.No freakin way am i gonna get swindled like that. If my local gave me a bad line he would own up to it, because its his job not mine to give me the correct info.
