I feel the need to start this thread, because too many times I see locks all over the place, plays of the century, bet my momma's left titty on this one, this is out of hand. I think we can all agree that the "L" word should not be taken lightly, especially when your money is on the line.

I want to keep track of locks posted anywhere on any forum or subforum. The key words (lock, free money, no way this dont win, etc) should be in the title.
Your help is appreciated, as we can all pitch in to keep track of who starts all these epic fail threads, and the % of how many of them actually win.

I will post date, poster, link, and official 'fade' play, and W/L

For your information (and I encourage you to go back and look to verify if you actually have that much free time), I included the word "lock" in my posts regarding the UCLA, WVU, and Kentucky threads. So personally, my record on "locks" is at least 3-0, and thats only this weekend!!!

We aren't counting anything in the past, this is starting today, right now. I am going to do my best to update this daily if the posts call for it.

Of course at this point I would never bet my money against a team just because a person said it was a lock. This is to gather information to determine whether the play(s) hold any sort of value.

In a daring display of courage and enthusiasm, henryhill proves that if you put enough locks out there, eventually one of them will hit! Even though some watch in disbelief and say he is jesus christ returned, others question his overall record, saying the 8-0 run was due because of his 37-233 overall record.

I will continue to search the board for lock failures, patiently waiting the appropriate time to implement humiliation tactics. Stay tuned SBR, we have barely even begun yet.

Locks are welcomed and encouraged.
Now, just to keep it fun, let's not start posting ML locks for 12+ point faves or a team with heavy chalk -400 and on up because even brock landers can....wait nevermind he can't, but most people can. I am sure you catch my drift here.

I am interested in seeing who can give lock winners consistently. Also I would like to determine the % at which they fail when its a group effort of all sbr members.

In order to make this 100% legit, the person who posts the lock must have the lock keyword(s) mentioned above in a NEW thread title. We are not just talking about people saying in a previous thread that "MISSISSIPPI is a lock". In the spirit of this competition, the poster must have felt so confident and assured that they are right that they feel the need to publicly display their "lock" in starting a new thread for all to see, blatantly disregarding the "MISSISSIPPI VS MISS ST GAME DISCUSSION THREAD" that is two posts below.

Henry, if you posted all of your 8-0 plays before they started, I applaud your winnings. I am not trying to bring you down. If you look in the ncaab subforum you can find my thread where I went 7-0 saturday, with all picks posted before game time, in one thread.
