    My wife does, not totally happy with it but lets me. However i think she was happier about it when i hit and netted $10,000 and gave her $3000 to do whatever with.

    Best solution is to let your significant other be involved in your life by turning them into a mini degenerate. Let them develop their roulette system at the casino. Try to keep monetary amounts in check though but that is all relative.

    My suggestion is that if you find a someone who tolerates your gambling do not disclose bet amounts or results. You become desensitized to amounts after awhile whereas significant other does not. Loss aversion magnifies mental pain. Anything over a $500+ loss and they will be calling GA. You can try to explain the whole concept of advantage gambling but most do not understand/are unable to understand/refuse to understand. If you're lucky to get one that does get it, previous advice still stands. Lots of stress involved in gambling no need for them to unduly suffer.

    For gods sake though do not tell family. You: "I just won $500 at the casino." Them "But how much did you lose?" You:"It was a net amount" Them:"I am concerned with your behavior.I think you should see someone." You: Punch Face/Facepalm self.

    Took my wife to the BASH last year and she fell in love with it! We watch a lot of the UFC fights and it gets her into the fights more. She'll now wager her points and sportbook on the fights. Kind of cool!

    All these people picking it up after they leave the ex? Why not do it while you're married. One final $11,000 bet before you're done. Just do the credit card withdraw and drop it down. If you win you gotta split it of course, but if you lose you only need to pick up half of it. Doesn't really matter tho, its more the fun you will get out of having 11K on the game.

    I'd recommend something really stupid like an odd vs even total in NBA.
