I'd turn around and go home.

Anyway, this is another troll thread brought to you by illfuuptn. Hopefully he'll be banned soon like his "roommate" was.

    I made one here.

Since I'm not sure why someone would be buying freeplays, let's use sportsbook cash, at the current pro prices (they go up next month):

5855 gets you about $500 in 5 Dimes cash or about $300 in gift cards.

if you're not sure why someone would be buying freeplays you're not taking full advantage

i just bought a $100 betphoenix freeplay for 466, $50 cash is 508 and the freeplay is worth more if you put it on a moneyline dog

    example:
    want edmonton in nhl +190
    1) use points to buy $50 cash, bet it on edmonton and you have 145 if it hits
    2) use less points to buy $100 freeplay, bet it on edmonton and you have 190 if it hits

and when you're using smaller numbers like this the 8x rollover shouldn't matter

freeplays have a lot of extra terms related to them, aside from the additional rollover.

    like what?
from what i know (which often times isn't much) the only additional restriction on the betphoenix freeplay vs cash is that moneylines more than +200 or more than -200 don't count toward the rollover.

mike, ties losing at some books and much more.

Many books also only allow freeplays on certain things (like sides/totals only for football/basketball, ML/total for baseball, and no soccer or props).

    fair enough yisman

as long as you only bet moneylines or spreads/totals with a hook for your freeplay it shouldn't matter if ties lose. if you have money elsewhere to bet against it, then a $100 freeplay is worth $60+ while $50 in cash is worth a little less than $50 (because of the rollover).

    1)What are the benefits.
    2) I Heard that they require personal info such as name and address verified- is this true?

Honestly, I've never looked into it, and am feeling lazy so just tell me why I should be a pro?

No, I said I couldn't be bothered with points. I was against the idea when SBR came out with it. I qualified to be "Pro" from the onset but chose not to give my personal info to get an extra 6 points/day. 12, 6 or zero points/day, makes no difference to me.

And not a math genius, don't know where you got that idea.

I think they shut mine off as a punishment for speaking a opinion not supported by the staff...I cant even give these 2 away that I have

maybe I should go make a thread like that obamaismyuncle guy?...cause I cant live without the points

you're ok in my book sickler...I know we went back and forth before but your posts have way more substance than a SBR "Pro" and it would be a a shame to see 'non pros' posts limited or edited (has been happening recently) in the near future

Also, when I said to the effect "you don't know what I'm about"....I'm a man of my word. I've said several times that I won't become an "SBR Pro"....and I won't...

1)i joined sbr not knowing about points, pro, etc but since i already had sportsbooks with their affiliates, i decided to "go pro" and i must say its def worth it. if you are not a terrible gambler (sportsbook or casino) then you can turn what little points you get for logging in daily, etc into a lot and spend it to get free things at the store. since the pros get a hefty discount, i'd say its def worth it in the long run. i turned a few hundred points into thousands and was then able to turn that into bodog cash. i think it costs 2800 for 250 bodog cash for pros while its 3500 for non pros.
    TOTALLY worth it.

    2) and yeah you have to provide them with just accurate information about yourself... what do you have to lose? you have to provide that information with any offshore sportsbook anyways

if you are too lazy to sign up, i'd understand, but its really not that much work. if you are too rich to where you dont need free money, bets, food, etc, i understand too. also, if you just suck at gambling and cant win in the sportsbook/casino.... then i understand you too, no point to go pro and receive discounts if you lose all your points anyways

Thank you, looked into it, and not worth it to me, to give up personal data, and plus, I only lose at betting and always will.

who cares if you dont have 200 bucks in a sports book. so f*ckin what??!?!?! who cares what some random fruitcakes on the internet think about you....use this site for whatever you wanna use it for....so many people lose at this that it can commonly be looked at as a good thing to not have 200$ in a sportsbook

i was worried about the personal info at first too but then sbrjohn reassured me they are very classy and responsible with the information. that plus we already give them the info in any contest we enter- as to what our account info is etc...no brainer. extra benefits...dont have to pay anything for it....if you dont quality you dont qualify...who cares?? thats fine ya kno.

exactly why I don't enter any of them, I tend to be very careful on the net, but glitch, you will never find a site that says that they are careless with your personal info

this is true. but this sbrjohn guy. i believe him. hes really forthcoming and trustworthy. im not kissing ass either- he is.

honestly i was scared to become an sbrpro for a couple weeks because of the info disclosure but i came around. too many benefits and a semi-unfounded fear (for contest enterers anyway)...i have accounts at maybe 25 books and not one of them have knocked on my door with a baseball bat yet.....yet.
