    correct. it's on the "history channel" all these shows are meant to show/teach history. just like pawn stars the focal point of that show is when they bring in a guy who knows a ton on an item and explains all of its history

    Problem I have with the show is the way they inflate their profits.

    Picked $50
    Valued at $450
    Profit $400

    There's no way in hell they get their "Valued" price for most of that crap.

    Storage Wars is the same way. Locker bought at $500 bucks. Dave estimates every locker at like $10 grand. I really hate that Dave guy.

    From what I have seen, they usually come to some kind of an agreement. That is not being ripped off.
    The guys are smart. They know how to make money by doing easy things. Not bad IMO.

    That is how all these shows are though. Like my buddy told me when he went to the OCC in NY they didn't even have the shop to tour, it was just some bullshit room full of motorcycles. The pawn stars show too same thing, you go to the shop, nothing is for sale and all they sell is shirts and shit from the show. No one from the show is even there.

    I think the real point is that there is stuff like that all over the united states. You just have to know where to find it, and to have a source to sell it to. A guy could make good money if he was really into it and was able to judge value of a wide variety of random objects.
