    Warning Lazer Wager RIP OFF

Please beware when joining Lazer Wager as I had a horrible experience with them. They refused to pay out and are out right rude when inquiring with them. The Female Eve is a thief.
Bo Dog and nine .com are way better than them and I would add Wager Lazer to the blacklist.

    Warning:

Their deal across the street was done as a "favor" because lazorwager's marketing guy named Freddie (same guy who worked for BOS) told me one of TheRx's techie's is dating a girl from Lazerwager....

Thus, theRx put them up for FREE, according to him...

That by itself doesn't mean they are a disreputable sports book, but they didn't honor an agreement with us either...

In fact, they completely misled EOG by stating they wanted to offer FREE contests here, then made arrangements to advertise, but disappeared when it came time to pay out...

They didn't even bother to notify us, but when Matt (Sound of Silence) and I called them back today to see what the delay was, they finally admitted it wasn't in their budget...

If this is the type of sports book you want to do business with, then don't let these "little" things bother you...

Gary11746 - rather than airing the matter in the forums, assuming you've got a valid complaint, might I suggest that you see if SBR can assist you first?

Evolution and their books have been working with the RX for years. Any post-up out of there will probably be on the RX.

Until Gary clarifies we can't say we have had a complaint as of yet. This could be about anything from a canceled bet to a misunderstanding that roll-overs come with bonuses. Hopefully Gary comes back and can fill us in.

Still have rollover to finish. The lines suck so it's kinda hard to bet with them.

Only reason I have a lot of money with them is I tried to lose with them on purpose if you know what I mean

btw on therx a guy just created a thread saying how he loves them.

On another forum, primarily poker related, I got Gary's complaint and Lazer Wager responded on the forum there with details in 2 posts.
Gary charged back his $300 deposit and expected to be able to cash out his winnings.
I'm not recommending Lazer Wager or anything.. but in Gary's case this was really clear cut, he does not have a valid dispute.
He is confused and does not believe he actually did a charge back but rather believes his bank gave him back his $ out of their own pocket. Obviously misunderstanding on how charge backs work but he has no winnings to cash out because his win came from attempting to cash out funds won by a charged back deposit. His account was inactive for 3 weeks prior to playing with the funds as he was expecting the account balance to be cleared. Once it was still there after a few weeks he used it to take a shot and tried to cash out.

Wan't the case at all. However Now that the Company isn't paying out and they still take deposits says it all.
Believe what you want about me I don't really care, however face reality, and that is a scam alert has been issued against the company for not paying out. Life is sure funny.
They blamed their credit processor for the delay in my refund, just as they're doing now. They failed to refund my monies timely, left the account open and allowed me to gamble hoping I would lose. If I did lose they would never of said the acct was closed and that I would get my deposit back. They put themselves in a no lose situation and all you clowns still don't see that.
Bottom line they are a deposit only sportsbook.
There are plenty of others who now have been stiffed by Lazer wager. It's no longer just Gary against this Scamming Sportsbook.
    Stay clear- They don't pay.

Gary is an arse because he only bashes these Lazer guys constantly over a dead issue... but he may be on to something maybe we all missed. We are following this Absolute Poker scandal and the end result which looks like it will culminate in indictments or at least a scathing story on 60 Minutes but we may have missed the Lazerwager/Absolute Poker connection as reported in Gambling911
    http://www.gambling911.com/Clooney-G...er-040908.html

It looks like a conspiracy of some kind related to mr.Grimard and Carlo of Lazerwager. I admittedly do not know of this for sure but the pics and the facts may speak for themselves. Many of us were told a company called Betruss was the scam outfit set up with the stolen funds but now it may have been Lazerwager all along. If anyone has info that may be helpful regarding this matter please let me know as we have the contact info for the 60 Minutes Reporter who could tie it all together. It all makes some sense also about epassporte saying there is an investigation going on regarding sportsbooks and poker rooms which a story appears in SBR and some poker forums about it. We Absolute Poker players are not letting this issue die because we believe the problem is bigger than they admit and would love Mr. Grimard to come clean and give some facts about the scam and if other Absolute execs were involved and if he is only the scapegoat

you are dead wrong. My problem with them is long gone. I only post now so that others don't get burnt. All I am doing now is speaking facts.
    1) They don't pay out
    2) A scam alert was issued against them in March 2008
    3) They are still taking deposits from new players.

This is no longer about me,as I said my issue was small and over. This is so they don't rope anyone else into their scam.

Sbr Down Grades Lazer Wager To An F=scam Co

    4/16/2008 07:35 PM

No-Pay book, LazerWager (SBR rating F) continues to advertise while stalling owed players
LazerWager management told SBR during our office visit in February that the book was waiting for a refund from its credit card processor and if it was not apparent that the funds would be returned, ownership would provide money needed to pay users. LazerWager then told SBR that payment should be expected in early April. Over the last month the book has maintained that the funds are being transferred. During this time LW continued to advertise to players it cannot pay. It has become clear the book hopes to market its way out of this debt and stay out of its own pockets. LazerWager should be considered a scam company currently funded by player deposits. LazerWager staff has told SBR that the book is owned by GPS Global SA, also known as Evolution Sports Data Processing (evodp.com). | SBRforum Discussion

Not sure what that means but Evolution was one of the companies mentioned in EOG story as one of the companies infiltrated by the feds as part of their investigation into online gaming.... This is incredible..lets hope the feds got what they needed from that and bust these scam artists! along with Absolute Poker! SBR please keep us informed...again if anyone has any ifo about the Lazer/Absolute connection please contact my self or Steve Kroft at 60 Minutes show

    Just curious

Last week I received 3 or 4 calls from Lazer Wager from Ian a smooth talking gentlemen offering (just me) 100% bonuses. I had read most of the SBR Lazer threads so I was a little prepared. He swore that they owe no one money. He claims most of the bad press is from one guy with a grudge named Gary. Finally when asked about his terrible ratings he got very riled. He says he knows the owners of TOW and SBR and to get decent ratings you have to pay thousands of dollars.I wouldn't know how that works but I did tell him that usually sbr will help you get money owed if a high rated book tries a fast one.
Two questions. Is there the slightest bit of truth to anything they claim and have they been beating people or do they still owe money to people from their contests, the super bowl or anything else. I guess a F rating speaks for itself but I wasn't able to find people claiming the were not paid except this Gary guy who story is a little convoluted no matter how many times I read it. They claim they have plenty of money and have paid everyone!! Is there some fresh news on them in the last few months that might indicate if their words have any credibility at all.

LazerWager (SBR rating F) is a deposit only book these days and now seems to be on an aggressive tele-marketing promotion judging by your comments above Jasper. Below I have posted the newswire from back in late February that will give you an idea just how bad of book they are.

    2/29/2008 06:57 PM
SBR visits LazerWager (SBR rating D-) office to discuss withdrawal issues
The sportsbook's management tells SBR that a single credit card processor, which has taken the majority of its deposits, is refusing to release the funds to the book and hasn't done so since January 15th. Lazer tells SBR that if the credit card processor does not release the funds they will invest more money in the book and a best case scenario would be some players receiving payment in early April. SBR asked LazerWager the obvious question. Why would they not save their reputation and the players from waiting by funding the business now since players will purportedly be paid regardless? The manager we spoke with was unable to address this question on behalf of its anonymous "ownership." Players should be concerned due to the fact that the book is unable or unwilling to pay, making this more than a processing issue. LazerWager is currently still taking deposits from new players. SBR estimates the debt to Lazer users to be just over $120,000.

The gall of these guys. Maybe they are operating on the 1934 Goebbels big lie premise!
This Ian, who wanted to be my new best buddy, tells me that TOW and SBR are out to get Lazer (for advertising conflicts) but if I go to Rx I would only hear good things from their many friends there. I haven't gone to Rx and doubt I will because everything seems to points to fraud. They do work so hard to get you to open an acct. and deposit any kind of chump change that it felt like they hustling commissions. The phone calls also were suspicious, They were so friendly setting up the account and very helpful choosing among their varied deposit options but that changed. When I told them I read about their SBR F ratings everything took a negative nose dive. Now they had a short deadline for the 100% bonus and a few choice explanations for the F rating and a load expletives for SBR and it's policies
Now my Laser experience doesn't prove anything although it did give me pause to be a bit paranoid. Say for arguments sake, I get stuck on a desert island with my laptop (and the football season was cranking up) and needed to choose between an SBR A - B rated book or Lazer Wager and what we know about them. Frankly I go with SBR high rated books every time over an F book, that can be described as a riddle wrapped into enigma, offering suspiciously incredible bonuses
Frankly the last time I checked no one knew who was owning or backing Lazer Wager and at this point does anyone really care!!

Hi,,, as an Absolute Poker scamee, and interviewee by 60 minutes, I can tell you that I have not been given an air date yet either even though us players who felt cheated (and I certainly was) would be told... I also understand that their is no direct connection (as of yet) between Lazywager and Absolute...but the feds did get involved by issueing subpoenas to some Absolute poker players ( I was not one of them) and some other sportsbooks that were mentioned as possible "illegal criminal enterprises" related to Absolute such as, Uktimate Bet laserwager and a company called Betruss (sportsbook) who used the same credit card processor...The associate prodecer for the Absolute scandal story did tell me that the feds are looking into money laundering/conspiracy charges for the companies...so if you do not want to get caught up in a federal case stay away from those 4 companies.
