start polling them for soccer picks every morning..... start trying to get to know them, gain their trust, and scrutinize the hierarchy of their little community....
see what they know about soccer picks..., ( prob not anywhere near what they think they do) then think about starting up a small time home depot parking lot book.... except don't put your own money into it....
after you have built some trust with them, (take a six pack over there with a few guys some evening)
find the brightest guy, and a guy that gets picked for jobs fairly frequently. Tell him that you will line him up and talk him up with the contractors you know from the store. if he will be your right hand man and tell him you'll let him INVEST in the business, with the $ he makes from the next week of day labor.
this way he'll only take bets from guys he knows, trusts, or knows he can collect from...
if he can get you 100 bucks, start with that... limit the betting to first 100 50 cents wagers the first week if you have to.
the great thing is, come world cup time if Mexico is -130 in a game, you can prob make it -250
