Can't seem to paste the image, but someone was a Jefferson first TD away from 1 million on a $43 wager. Jefferson had his TD reversed, just short.

    I want to rethink this.

The bet was only to win 11k. It wasn't to win 1.4 million so it is possible they took the bet.

But I'm still a little suspicious here.

People gamble big if they are worth big. Look at Floyd Mayweather.. It's all relative to your income and net worth.

I'm guessing if it was 1million on jags +1200 they might have reviewed it considering they review+1000 lines with $1000 bets.

They put big bets on review. At least live ones. It takes a few seconds to even longer. It's happened to me numerous times. ( A member of our team is reviewing your wager)

    Exactly.

But also even high limits are one way.

In the grand scheme of things, it's almost like a freeroll for the book...

From the bettor perspective and in the spirit of one of my favorite Nasher sayings...If you have the 1.4 million, why do you need the 11k?

Guy could have probably made that in US bonds over a short time...lol.

Worst stall tactic ever. With the ability to come back at you with "the line has changed" they get the benefit of seeing things change before deciding.

    That can be so huge.

I am too. I'm not sure that bet makes a lot of sense. If true, extreme learning experience. There is no such thing as a sure thing.

I doubt DK are silly enough to take a bet like that unless they know the person and know where their money comes from and know they have the capacity to afford it. Humungous fines for them not knowing that about big bettors.

Especially when they are talking about the bet in public.

But remember this thought next time you see one of us complaining that KYC/SoW/SoF are unreasonable.

But would it be really that easy to pinpoint? As long as it wasn’t out of the blue what are they really doing to identify? Let’s say this person makes big bets here and there regularly and mixes in some money laundering high juice bets. How do they tell?
DK snd FD identification process isn’t really that rigorous

The AML and KYC rules would make it impossible for them to accept this bet at all if they had not already checked the player. Can't do a million one-off on the spur of the moment.

That's how it's supposed to work anyway. And I really doubt DK would talk about it if not done.

DK process would seem more rigorous if you start betting amounts an average income earner would obviously not be able to support.

Seems silly for them to share this wager. If you lost $1.4m on this bet, would you wager with Draftkings again after seeing all the sports media/news outlets covering this and being the laughing stock of sports betting forums and social media everywhere? I wouldn't.

Whether the person that made this bet is super wealthy or not, I'd be pretty pissed at Draftkings for sharing the betslip.
