Happy Thanksgiving to the SBR faithful! The Bullseye team is looking for its first 3-week winning streak to close out the month of November. Stranger things have happened - here's who the squad is riding this weekend:
Jon Metler (8-3-0): Ohio State Buckeyes -7.5 (-107) vs Michigan Wolverines
"As a rivalry game between the No. 2 and No. 3 ranked teams in the country, the spread of 7.5-points seems excessive. In reality, if Ohio State has a chance to beat the brakes off of Michigan, the Buckeyes will certainly run up the score after losing last year. I think Ohio State should be closer to a 9.5-point favorite over the Wolverines, which is why I'm laying the -7.5 with the Buckeyes."
Michael McClymont (7-2-2): L.A Chargers vs Arizona Cardinals Over 48 (-110)
"Kyler Murray expects to return from a 2-week absence and both the Chargers and Cardinals are desperate for a win. Grab the 48 now before it climbs when Murray is officially announced the starter."
Andrew Brennan (6-5-0): Carolina Panthers +2.5 (-105) vs Denver Broncos
"This is less of a bet on the Panthers and more of a bet against Russell Wilson and the lowest-scoring offense in football. The Broncos waived Melvin Gordon immediately after Chase Edmonds suffered an ankle injury, leaving Latavius Murray and Marlon Mack as the only running backs. Meanwhile, Jerry Jeudy still isn't practicing and KJ Hamler is also sidelined. Look for Carolina to win outright at home."
Esten McLaren (4-7-0): L.A. Rams +14 (-105) vs Kansas City Chiefs
"This is a gigantic number the Chiefs have covered just twice this year. While Rams receiver Cooper Kupp and QB Matthew Stafford will both be out of the lineup, backup QB John Wolford started just two weeks ago against the Cardinals and was competent while completing 24 of 36 passes. Kansas City has taken control of the No. 1 seed in the AFC and should be more than happy to enjoy a pseudo-bye ahead of next week's test on the road against the Bengals."
Sean Tomlinson (1-10-0): Chicago vs N.Y. Jets Under 39 (-110)
"My oldest child turns four in a few days. Will I hit another Bullseye pick before his fifth birthday? Before his 10th? Before his high school graduation? His wedding? Will he be old enough to legally hit one before me? If you answered yes to all, you're probably right. For now, I'll put my fate in Mike White and likely Trevor Siemian. The Jets' offense is in shambles, and White won't be able to resurrect it, at least not immediately. Meanwhile, a journeyman backup in Siemian is facing a stout Jets defense allowing only 18.6 points per game."
