Gonna give props to...Teddy Covers. I've called him an Idiot b4. Have to say his weekly NFL show is worth a listening. In 60min, he gives a pretty good rundown on the upcoming week's games:

  Nice scheduling advantage here for what i see as a very legit Tennessee squad. The Volunteers were off this past weekend while LSU was having to scratch and claw its way to a comeback win at Auburn. Everyone knows about the Tennessee offense, but don't sleep on the defense, which is proving to be pretty elite defending the run. That's big here as LSU needs to run the ball to be effective. I wasn't at all impressed in the LSU win against a struggling Auburn entry that's likely about to fire its coach. Looks to me like a favorable matchup for the road team and the number is acceptable. I'll spot the short number with Tennessee.

You are correct. Andre Gomes was good for at least one NBA season, maybe more. Then you'd listen to him and he'd sound like a regular guy. Like you said, so often that a peak performance erodes toward 50/50 or at least 52/48.

Don't pay for touts when there's touts out there that gives free picks on Twitter and Instagram. I seen them give away free parlays that pays from 4x to 100x that sometimes win. The catch is that they want you to follow their social media instead of buying their picks.

Here's a good advice from this tout named Steve Stevens. Don't buy his picks but he gives the best advice on money management and betting advice.

1) Someone would have to be awfully good for me to pay for their picks.
2) Even if they're good...do I get THE RELEASE #? If they're good, I don't.

Good stuff, Bill. This wasn't a thread about advocating Touts. Of course, they're slime.

Always a good story when you can figure out a way to fade a Tout. They're salesmen, that's all.

I personally think the Touts are pushing Duke in the bowl game way too hard. As if they're comfortable with Duke, so it's a play for them.

This thread was supposed to be more of a fair examination of Touts. Look closely at what they're using for a basis. A lot of times, it's nothing of significance.

In Teddy Covers' case, he flat-out tells you that he rationalizes the pick. That's a terrible way to handicap.

I do think Teddy is a "good guy." His weekly NFL video is free info.

He trades Picks for Dollars. And this year, he's throwing shit against the wall. Draw your own conclusion.
