guys don't forget that Rafa has been an underdog to Joker multiple times at Roland Garros and has lost twice on those occasions.

on the rare occasions that Rafa is an underdog, it is usually for good reason.

I like Kyrgios here. He’s really hitting the ball well and aggressively. He seems really focused and determined. I’m riding him here. Nothing huge because he could always have an emotional breakdown and you really can’t cap his mental makeup. But his best tennis will beat Nadal.

That’s basically every tennis player. Nesrly all shrivel up after a bad break of serve or a tie break loss. Thank god football players aren’t like that. I had many comeback wins ATS last season where teams were absolutely getting pounded.

nadal's ab tear injury doesn't sound great. seems like he needs decent painkillers to just make it on court and couldn't serve at full strength today when practicing. all it takes is one wrong move for even 1/10 more tear and nadal is in deep trouble.

So upset. What a potential match and scenes coming from those 2

i feel like kyrgios is starting to respect djokovic a little bit so it might not be that bad attitude wise

kyrgios and nadal dont get along. Would have been amazing

Kyrgios is amazing guy that will sell the tickets and views. Everybody will be on the TV or whatever stream service youre on. Its something more 'epic' than just nadal-djokovic final. Wimbledon with the russian ban lost ratings but I bet you even the ones who swear to not watch it going to be watching this. Packed with drama, action and much more.

the enemy of the enemy is my friend.

joker and kyrgios both disliked by fans and tour mates (joker has garnered more respect the L10Y compared to his first 5Y) but still, they have something in common - people dislike them.

That can't be the reason, kyrigios seems like a child. I've never played tennis seriously, don't understand the nuances of the sport as to who's a dirtbag or cheating etc. I doubt kyrigios is thinking that far ahead.

The bits a casual viewer such as myself gather about kyrigios is that Wimbledon would have egg on their face if he wins on Sunday. Wasn't he broadcasting an affair with stan wawrinkas wife a few yrs ago? The guy also said he wanted to play in the nba or some bullsht

    This is what happened.

Kyrgios lost the first set in a thrilling tie-break, but after walking back to his chair, he can be heard saying to Wawrinka, “Kokkinakis banged your girlfriend, sorry to tell you that mate." Kyrgios continued, saying Wawrinka's girlfriend was "banging an 18-year-old," per Joshua Hayward of Sky Sports.

I respect the talent Kyrgios has, but I'd be a basket case with money on him. He might actually try for three minutes or three hours and you never know which you're going to get.

That's dirty or low but NBA players say that stuff or worse often to get in their heads. I guess tennis is more akin to polo or golf. Prissy sport

Tennis is brutal. Players, especially women, do everything they can to get in their opponents head. It's crazy what these girls will do to get their opponent out of their game. A lot of cruel mental games.

Rafa never liked Nick much after Nick beat him at Wimbledon in his youth. Nick fired a ball that hit Rafa in a match and they both started a shouting match.
