Must be a reverse psychology post? Houston is deadly at Home. If you have no starting pitchers.... turn it to an offense game... and Houston can do that. Atlanta can't.

2 ways to look at the series from an Atlanta 3-1 series perspective...

    1. Atlanta should feel embarrassed if you can't win 1 more out of 3 to close it out.

    2. Houston shows you a sound veteran lineup (who has been there before) can overcome anything.

Atlanta needs 1 HOT LINE UP.... can it happen??? Game 6 or Game 7 to match Houston.

Atlanta has to feel uneasy... being up 4-0 in Game 5.... and losing the game... now heading back to Houston.

Houston happy to be home and can feed off the crowd.

    Crazy... crazy... crazy....

Houston hits better at home. I'd be worried if I were Atlanta right now because game 5 could've woken up those Houston bats and that could carry over to game 6 in Houston.

I'd much, much, much rather be Atlanta. But, pitching-wise the Astros literally have the entire staff available for game 6 and 7. Game 8 is not until April 1, 2022.

Can't get cute in a gm 6 elimination affair. Throw the kitchen sink if necessary.

Tuesday's starter for Houston on short rest.

Garcia pitched on Friday. Fried pitched on Wednesday. This is a game changer.

If Braves can't take one of three then they don't deserve to be Champs. Don't care about it being in Houston, the Astros bats getting hot, Fried been getting Fried last two games. Braves needed one game, they have two opportunities left. I've just been betting games individually no Series wager. I think Braves take it.

Snitker has some balls starting two rookies btb and then even extending Tucker into the 3rd when he clearly didn't have it and literally had no MLB experience coming in and hadn't pitched in 4 months. I guess he got his reminder that Tucker Davidson is not Kyle Wright. If this goes 7 the Braves are fukked.

Fried and Anderson are way better than what Houston has available to pitch on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Snitker plays chess and Houston backers play checkers.

Hard to argue with that logic and the Braves already dinged up Javier who Dusty loves to bring in for 2-3 key innings.

Its not like the Braves haven't choked before though historically. Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz, etc only won 1 WS I think? Didn't they win the first 2 in NY one year and then lose 4-2? I say the Braves better get it done in Game 6 or the crowd/pressure will be on them.

Fried has been smacked around his last 2 starts as well (9.2 innings, 15 hits, 11 earnies)

Don' forget about the curse of Dustiny...

Baker has never won the World Series as a manager and has been criticized as a poor postseason manager.

This has been a crazy series. My Astros will force a game 7. That might be a record for Game 7's by one MLB team. 3 Game 7's over the last 5 years in the World Series. AJ really made some bad decisions in 19. Not bringing in Cole has haunted this team since then. 2 Wins away from bringing the title back to H-Town!

This has crossed my mind as well. Valid post. Baker has lead numerous teams to a wonderful regular season.... and he sh#$s the bed in the playoffs.

Dusty drove me nuts with my Reds, but he's been flawless in this series imo. Down 3-1 so he changed the lineup and that worked. Javier has been his best reliever all year and if he doesn't give up back to back HRs then its 3-2 going home. Thats not on Dusty. I feel like if they get it tonite then the crowd & pressure will get to Atlanta. Greinke is tricky too. THink he'll go Game 7 if there is one.

Coming in I was either losing $600 or winning $1400 on Houston. +950 on Hou for $100. Already lost Houston -1.5 games. Bit the bullet and hedged $500 today on the Braves so now its either lose $350 total or win $600. Thats not so bad.

Congrats you guys! Always liked Soler. Never understood why the Cubs gave him away so quickly? He hit well in the playoffs when he was 23 or whatever with them. 48 bombs in 2019 so there was always talent there

Shitty WS though from a random fans viewpoint. Very few lead changes or close games. Game 3 was so cold & rainy nobody did shit?

Who cares how the Braves are playing, Astros can't get one run in a do or die game, they gonna win this game 0 - (-1) ?
